Coach I am aware of your organizations prestige and saw first hand that your kids can play and are no doubt well coached. I do believe the Coach creates the team culture however. You got parents who apparently think it is ok to make fun of opposing 12 year old players and tell them they suck when they think no other adults can hear. I am sure that isn't the reputation you want for your team as you travel the country but it sure made an impression on us. Now that you are aware I am sure you will address the matter appropriately. Thanx for the invite to N.C. even tho I took it as sarcastic. we had a great time there and enjoyed the diff atmosphere . i too, actually mentioned, on the first day, to the director, that our game balls seemed flat and sounded "dead". I have never heard of that brand of ball they chose to use.

 

thanx for addressin your parent issue as well. It was ur parent who was "Tossed" after using foul language and being unsportsmanlike. that same guy, was even yelling out my pitches to ur batters but that form of sportsmanship didn't seem to have bothered you. Maybe you didnt hear him yelling every pitch. I just used my second set of 3 sets of signs.

 

yes, the umps did make a time mistakebut it was corected and didn't impeede the game in any way. It was I, who went to the scorebook to straighten it out to give our game another inning. Simple mistake

 

as a coach for many years, i believe that every team, no matter wat sport, need luck on their side from time to time. Not a bad thing to have. You have a good squad no doubt,however. we were the only team that went undefeated the entire tournament.

 

the game we lost to you was a 'throw away" game, an extra game for us. It didnt matter if we won or lost it didnt count for us. Check with director. we had already played our seed game and went 3-0. we wanted you to show ur cards, which u did.you beat us.
