Carolina Curve 12u at Triple Crown Nationals

a lot of this game is mental and about which team can make proper adjustments. We made those adjustments wen it counted and was able to keep you off balance. Bottom line. Remember, we also beat the other team 15-3, that you lost to. You lost twice.

 

First of all, thank you Mad Hornet--it was a pleasure to play ya'll and I am sure we will see you again as the Glory! We will definitely be looking out for you--classy team with real talent!

Only other comment I can make is if you come to a message board and click a link about another team, you are obviously looking for trouble. Don't dial my number and tell me you don't want to talk to me. Curve Out!

 

in closing i want to say thank you for your kind words and for informing us of a situation we were not aware of. This organization does not represent that, ever. My line is always available to communicate and I even like the Tarheels too....lol


PS... my daughter is our shortstop and leadoff lefty, #22...

From an outsider

Ya know...I was a bit put off by the statement of "you were the best team on Sunday but not of the whole tournament" because I, as the opposing coach, would have found that to be tasteless - an attempt to hide vinegar by adding honey if you know what I mean.

However... I think in the end the true colors were shown here. There was no need for nearly an entire page of 1-2 line posts by Pepsi. There was also no need to brag about "making someone show their cards" or bringing up the loss by the Curve to another team. Honestly, what purpose did it serve rather than to put sour grapes out on the clothes line???

Parents behave as the organization and coaches allow them to behave. The puffery exhibited here by Pepsi says this is a case of monkey see, monkey do.

So, Curve, next time ya'll face off again - and I am sure you will - act with class and beat the hell outta them. I'll be cheering from here in good ole NC!

Man you are piece of work. You come on "our" board running your mouth. Nobody said a bad thing about your team on here. Oh, by the way I'm not a coach so I can run my mouth on here. You talk about the mental part of the game so you think you out coached us?? If so your crazy. We probably looked past the Blaze on Saturday because we couldn't wait to run rule your ass again. Got in the loser's bracket and made it back to you. If you think your team is really that good come play the Carrollton Classic in Georgia next year!!! But from looking at the USSSA website your not even the Best team in Florida... Boy your cocky to be the 9th best team in your own state. GO get your berth to the Nationals because we ARE this year or the Next and maybe just maybe we will see you again. By the way, I like Mt. Dew... lol
