    Heard yesterday that Ross Groome from Myers Park has committed to Wingate. Great kid w a great bat. Known him since he was about 8. His dad is OK too :punk:

    Great kid and player, always stuck out in MP's lineup. Awesome to see so many great kids going D2 in the South Atlantic Conference. Looking forward to running in to them at games this Feb and March. Mars Hill, Wingate, Catawba, Tusculum and Lenior Rhyne to name a few. Young teams where these individuals will see playing time this spring to make an impression. Let's get it on ................ :roflmao:

    Ross is a quality young man that I had the pleasure of getting to know many years ago. His bat will light up the Wingate ball park. Wingate has gotten a steal by adding such a fantastic hitter and young man.
