Transfer question

    What are the rules on transferring from a DIII or DII to a DI? I assume that you have to sit out a year unless you've been released by the current coach?

    Correct. You do not have to sit out a year as long as your coach releases you when transferring to a different division.

    Go Juco

    Some HS players in my opinion get caught up in having to have a D1 label too early. They go, sit on the bench for two years, pay a lot of money and wait for the 23 year-old Red-shirt Senior to graduate. Go Juco, save money, play ball the 1st 2 years and then go D1 experienced and ready to compete. Just my opinion...
