The 12U Carolina Storm is in need of a guest catcher and possibly a middle infielder for Oct 27-28. We are playing in Greensboro, NC in the NSA Fall Super Saver. Let me know if you have a daughter that is looking for extra playing time and we can discuss. We practice out of Thomasville, NC so if interested contact me and we can work out the details around coming to one of our practices.

NC Challengers 14U Renzi - Opening for 1 pitcher

NC Challengers 14U Renzi is seeking one (1) PITCHER with additional experience playing middle infield or outfield. The team practices in the North Raleigh area and plays at the 'A' level. We would like to add a player of comparable ability to those already on the roster. The team is comprised primarily of rising high school freshmen with some rising 8th graders.

NC Challengers 18U Renzi is seeking one (1) PITCHER and one (1) MIDDLE INFIELDER - both with strong bats. The team practices in the North Raleigh area and plays in some of the top showcase and competitive tournament events in the Southeastern US and beyond. We would like to add a player of comparable ability to those already on the roster. The team is comprised of rising high school juniors with a few rising high school seniors and is focused on successfully competing at the highest level of softball possible while providing the team with numerous recruiting opportunities.

- November 9-11, Southern Force Fall Showcase, Athens GA

Lady Blues 14U OPEN TRYOUTS

The 14U Lady Blues announces open tryouts for the ‘13 season.

We are looking for players with ’99 or ’98 birth year that have the drive and commitment to play in a highly competitive environment. We will be playing a competitive 14U schedule for the summer ’13 season with plans to move to showcase play in the Fall of 2013.

We completed a very successful summer season with a 5th place finish (highest finish of all Carolina teams) in the NSA Class “A” World Series. 38 teams from 18 states competed for this title.

About The Lady Blues​

The goal of the Lady Blues is to provide a quality, supportive environment for young ladies to pursue their dream of academic excellence and playing college softball. Founded in 2000, the Lady Blues have pursued a competitive level of play and have proven their ability to compete at the highest level of amateur softball.

Since the fall of 2003, all Blues high school seniors that had the desire to play softball at the next level, have signed or committed to play at a college or university. This group includes 7 girls from the 2010 class that committed to play at the D1 level, as well as 4 early 2011 commitments.

Over the past 4 years, the Lady Blues have attended four ASA A Nationals, 1 Gold National, earned a birth to the prestigious Independence Tournament in Boulder, Colorado (by winning a qualifying tournament with 33 teams, many of them GOLD) and finishing 8th out of 80 teams in their first trip to the "big dance". In 2008, the Lady Blues had its highest finish ever at the ASA 18U A Nationals, by capturing 7th place out of 120 teams. The Blues followed the 2008 performance at Nationals, with another 7th place finish at the 2009 ASA Nationals held in Las Vegas, NV. In the summer of 2010, the Lady Blues captured 1st place out of 60 teams at the Hot Times Showcase in Florence, SC.

The Blues are welcomed at most major showcase events in the country, and have been invited to Canada and Hawaii to play in invitational tournaments. Colleges that Lady Blues have committed to, or have had Lady Blues players are: Tennessee, UNC-Chapel Hill (2), North Carolina State University, Maryland, College of Charleston (2), Furman (3), UNCC (4), Barry University, Campbell (3), UNC-Wilmington (3), Gardner-Webb (3), USC Upstate (4), Longwood, Western Carolina, Appalachian State, Lenoir Rhyne (4), Wingate, Belmont Abbey (3), St. Andrews, Queens, Lees McRae, Tusculum, Lander, and Chipola JC.

1b, 2b & OF with a '98 birthday is looking for a competitive organization to become apart of. Will travel reasonable distances for practice. Looking to advance to playing college softball. Would like to join a proven organization with a record of advancing players to play at a higher level.

Lady Blues 10u Tryouts

December 1st and 2nd 1pm to 3pm

We are looking to finalize our roster with 2 or 3 more players. The Lady Blues 10u team will be looking for 2003 Date of Births. We will also be looking for exceptional 2004 date of birth players. The Lady Blues 10u team plans to play a competitive schedule in 2013 between 16 and 18 tournaments. The Lady Blues organizations has a relationship with Wilson/Demarini to help reduce some of our expenses. We have our own field so we can control the days and times we wish to use it. We have our own cages and pitching machine.

FCA Softball Travel Team

Holding tryouts for 16U FCA travel team! Team is affiliated with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Program will be lead and coached by Christian coaches. We will appear in showcases and tournaments in the southeast. Looking for all positions!

Early Tryouts for Spring 2013 - Carolina Comets 14u

Carolina Comets will be holding early tryouts for the spring 2013 season on Sunday, November 11th @ Lake Norman High School from 3:00pm - 5:30pm.

The Carolina Comets will be coached by two young females, Jennifer Giambattisa (AKA Bailey) & Ashton Brown. Both coaches were former Carolina Comets players.
