Francis Marion to D1?

    Can anybody confirm whether or not Francis Marion is moving to D1 anytime soon? or ever?

    Francis Marion already has some of their teams playing D-1 as independents. I guess there's a plan to move all of their athletics up to D-1 sometime in the future. Their baseball coaches certainly mention that they're moving to D-1., but haven't heard any kind of exact timeframe.

    Went On a recruiting visit to FMU . They have excellant , brand new baseball facilities , but coaches said that they would not be moving up in the near future because of D1 conference entery fees .
