Pitching & Catching: The Battery
Pitching: LEAD INSTRUCTOR…..One of the nation's top pitching instructors,
Denny Tincher, of Virginia, will be available to work with your pitchers. Denny is the father and pitching instructor for 2008 College Player of the Year, Angela Tincher. Angela led Virginia Tech to the College World Series and stands in the college record books as one of the top pitchers of all time. She stunned the world in 2008 with a no-hitter against the U.S. Olympic Team. His approach has been so successful that pitchers from around the country are coming to him, and currently he has 25 instructors-in-training from Phoenix to Atlanta to Delaware. PC's Kama Tucker and Collegiate pitchers will be here to help too! Catching… Coach "Gus"/ Miller will help you take your receiving, blocking, and throwing to the next level. Learn a daily routine to maximize your practice time and become your best behind the plate.
Sports Performance
Come learn from Coach Taylor and the Staff that trains our softball athletes every week. Learning to stretch properly, recovery techniques, increase your core strength, increase your flexibility, improve your foot speed, agility, how to become stronger and more fit are all components of being a good softball player! This session will be fun and relative for SOFTBALL!

Upstate Softball Camp

USC Upstate softball camp January 26th is closing in on the max of 200 campers. We are at 192 now. If you would like to call or email us please do so very soon! Our summer camp is June 24th to the 27th. Info for that camp will go up feb 1st. For all of those that have signed up, we'll have a blast!

Grand Slam USA - Raleigh NC Winter Camp series

What a great camp this weekend at the Slammer.... 50 + softball players got a jump on their spring season.... It was a packed house..!!

Great job by our all-star coaching staff, which included former
NCSU stars, Landon Warren and Alyssa Ishabashi,
Florida State All American and former Akron Racer, Veronica Wootsen-Ross, Raleigh native and Jacksonville State star Nikki Prier,
former Wake Tech head coach and 2x WPU All Region 2nd baseman, Niki Dobbins, NC Central Head Coach Theresa Stephens, and former Va Tech pitcher Karey Morrison, as well as the WPU staff and players...

Next weekend, it's the pitcher / catcher camp,
featuring former South Florida All American and NCSU Wolf Pack pitching coach, Leigh Anne Genetti,
Former Va Tech pitcher Karey Morrison,
and Former ECU pitcher and current Pitt Community College pitching coach Faith Sutton.

Catchers will get a chance to work former Jacksonville State catcher and first baseman, Nikki Prier as well as the WPU catching contingent...
