    A lot of good information in that article, just don't get too hung up on his rankings.

    Coaches poll and media poll picked App St to finish 5th and 6th last year. I'll wait and see.

    They will score but will they have enough pitching? They have good arms just not very deep.

    My reference was more about not necessarily believing in the polls rather than implying that App St will win the conference. Too many factors (some known and some unknown) that impact the season, that’s why I don’t put a lot of stock in polls, especially preseason. Good discussion material I guess and we can see how right or wrong they were at season's end. No dog in the fight, I’ll just sit back and enjoy SOCON Baseball!

    No, never made it to college ball. My son played there last season.

    App state should be strong contenders in the SOCON. I also think Samford has a talented bunch. Have heard that Link Jarrett is doing a great job with UNCG, I wouldn't write them off!
