    As usual....

I think South Meck will be the team to beat in the SW4A. They have always been a tough game for all other teams and they bring out some very good players every year. SM has some serious experience this year with just about all returning starters in positions 1-9. And those players have been starters in those positions for 2-3 years. Not sure how deep their pitching is but as far as positional experience goes, I don't think they can be touched by the other teams in the SW4A.

    Even from 100 miles away...

I'll take AK - or Providence - as being able to "touch," no matter what the game aspect.

    Tough opening schedule

South Meck's first 6 games are: Catholic, Weddington, Marvin Ridge, Mt Tabor, Ardrey Kell, Providence. My goodness. I'm impressed.

That is a tough opening act for the season. A good preview can be found here for the SW4A.

Last night I received a very nice PM about the above post and the content on that web site. I am not the author of that web site but became familiar with it last year through TBR. The author is a frequent contributor here and does an amazing job with that site throughout the year. It is the definitive web site for SW4A and fun reading throughout the season. Just wanted to clear the air on that.
