Mackenzie Winslow Makes Her Decision!

    Mackenzie Winslow (2014) of the Carolina Cardinals- McKinney, has committed to play softball for UNC Greensboro and Coach Janelle Breneman!

    Mackenzie is an extremely talented pitcher who can hit with power and play several positions. Mackenzie is also an amazing student and could have chosen almost any college just based off her academic excellence. Her hard work in the classroom and on the practice field shows the time, hard work and commitment does payoff. Mackenzie had several college opportunities to choose from making her decision a tough one. However Mac has always done things exactly right when it comes to the recruiting process, her academics and softball. The UNCG choice came from her heart and what she feels is the best for her. UNCG has a really good one one the way.

    It has been an honor to have been Mac's coach for the past 5 years. I remember this tall, skinny, nervous little girl coming to tryout for my team almost 6 years ago. I knew then, Mac was a special young lady. Mac truly exemplifies what it means to be a Carolina Cardinal on and off the field. I know Coach Ray is very proud!

    It has fun sharing all the laughter and tears over the past 5 years, but the journey has been well worth it. Best of luck at UNCG and I can't wait to have Mac in the circle for 2 more summers!

    Thanks to everyone! We are very proud of Mac's accomplishments on the field and in the classroom. We look forward to to wearing the Spartan colors!
