    LHP Logan Redmond throws 1 hit CG. No hitter spoiled in 7th.
    Tanner Mann (2015) hits 3 RBI triple off CF fence at 385' was another highlight.

    Four WF pitchers combine for a no hitter.

    West Forsyth's game with West Stokes will not be played tomorrow as scheduled and they are working to find a date to make it up.

    Weddington over South Meck 5-3

    Weddington won in a tough fought game 5-3 that went back and forth until the seventh inning. Alex Bostic hit a homerun Bomb with 2 men on base. Great defensive plays especially at the shortstop position ( Daniel Calabretta) kept South Meck from regaining the lead. There were at least 7 D1 Commits playing in the game.

    Sanderson -v- Cardinal Gibbons

    Sanderson started the season strong as they beat Cardinal Gibbons 7-4. Sophmore Ray Roby got the win as he pitched 3 innings with 8ks and 1 run allowed. CAS Silber was 2 for 2 with a double and Tim Smiley hit a 2 run homer in the Spartans 6 run 3rd inning. Cardinal Gibbons tried to make a game of it scoring 3 runs in the 7th before the tying run struck out to end the game.
