Lake Norman 1, North Mech 0

lake Norman held on to get the 1-0 win on a night the rain washed out the 7th inning. A classic pitching duel between Ryder Ryan (N Mech) and Jon Stires (Lake Norman). Both pitchers pitched a complete 6 inning game. Stires allowed 1 hit and 12 K's to get the shut out. Mike Elwell got the game winning hit to plate the only run of the game. Lake Norman moves to 3-0 for the season.
