Shoot, don’t get me wrong, coach likes the new 6 game schedule so its ok by me. We’re gonna play some teams we haven’t had time to play in years, maybe even add some games. In the past we took off for Beach week but not this year, gonna have extra players and games don’t count so expect we’ll let the seniors go sow some oats and get a look at some young’ins that week.
Still not buying that ‘cause of HS playoff BS, its over by May 25 not June 16.’ Whatever works for ya.
Ain’t getting me back to the winter or fall conference. It’s a farce, if you know they don’t hear you why waste a perfectly good day, he won’t even listen to the area commissioners. Like to be part of the solution but until the whole congregation gets up we’ll just have to roll with it.

HS State final ends June 2 this year & most schools in Forsyth Co graduate on June 7 & 8 so that is the whole story from my point of view regarding the regular season.

The momentum has to start somewhere and build from there. I've been to a winter conference also so I totally get what your talking about regarding the tone there. We are going to have to start somewhere.

Respect the game i respect everything you are saying let's say Kernersville would have played 8 more league games in 2010 and would have won 6 of them the last part of the season they would have been in the top 4 of there division and still would have made that great run to the ALWS.

Maybe we should go back and the North have there own League and Playoffs and the South Also sending a team from the North and a team from the South to the state tournament. The current format will hurt the south more than the North. The South draws much larger crowds and everyone complains about not having any revenue but we are going to destroy the teams that do have revenue comming in.

Let's face it most coaches do get along and respect one another now there is big rivalries from the fans standpoint. Rowan and Mocksville are no doubt the biggest draws in the area and a great rivalry along with kannapolis and Concord, The north i don't think has those big rivalries .We need to creat one Kernersville- High Point or Eastern Randolph- Asheboro

Kernersville-King used to be a huge rivalry, but King no longer has a legion program as it has gone to Winston-Salem

    Good stuff

Happy and excited to receive word today that South Rowan will indeed field a Senior American Legion team this summer. While the young men that play for this team will benefit directly, all in Area 3 appreciate the efforts made to retain one of the best organizations. They run a classy program at South Rowan, so congratulations and thanks to whoever gets credit for this Save.

Would like to congratulate the South Rowan folks for figuring out a way to make it happen. Statesville would still be in if they had a field to play on. Chalk that one up to funding & school system issues.
