    Sanderson 5 Heritage 3

    Sanderson improves to 5 and 1 on the year and 2 -0 in the CAP with a 5 to 3 victory against Heritage. After giving up 2 runs in the top of the 1st, Sanderson starter Tyler Hardee settled down and pitched a complete game, giving up only 4 hits on the night. Tim Smiley came up big again for the Spartans as he drove in Tyler Hardee with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 6th after Sanderson had tied the game on an infield hit by CAS Silber. Daniel Ferrell led off the bottom of the 6th with a double down the left field line and ended up on 3rd as the ball got by the left fielder. 5 different players had an RBI for Sanderson on the night as hits were hard to come by for both teams.

    West Forsyth drops 2 to Wilmington Laney - 2-1, 5-4
    Reynolds beats Glenn 6-5.
    West and Reynolds will play 2 games next week to start the conference schedule.
