    The Marvin Ridge vs Porter Ridge game scheduled for Friday 4/12 has been moved to today, Thursday 4/11, 4:30 at Marvin Ridge.

    Marvin Ridge - Porter Ridge series

    Tues: MR 5 PR 2
    Complete game by Z Kuchmaner
    HR by Wotell

    Wed: MR 6 PR 2 (8 innings)
    Well played game with PR coming up with 2 in the 5th to tie after an otherwise strong start by Wotell .. MR scored 4 in the 8th to close it out

    Thur: MR 9 PR 0
    3 pitcher shutout for MR (Tietjen, Sagmoe, Colonna)
    Lots of hits for MR, but PR didn't help themselves defensively in this one

    Future SW4A Teams playing tonight

    Tonight will be a good night for baseball fans to see 2 new team in the realigned SW4A conference for 2014. Olympic v. Charlotte Catholic at the beautiful Jack Hughes park. (Especially since SMeck and Providence finished thier game last night. ).

    West Forsyth beats Reagan for the second time this week 9-5 at Wake Forest Ball Park. Travis Holden and Eric Sonafrank combine to hold Reagan to 4 hits and Zach French hits a home run and has 5 rbi. West moves to 13-5 on the year and 4-2 in conference.

    Heritage pulls one out vs Wakefield 3 to 2. Winning run scores in the the bottom of 7. Both Pitchers had great games.
