    SPC title will come down to the last week of play. Hickory Ridge (9-3) holds a slim lead over Mt. Pleasant and Central Cabarrus who are tied for second (6-4).

    High Point Christian vs High Point Weseleyan

    HPW 6 HPC 5
    HPW wins in the bottom of 7th on a bases loaded walk This was a very good HS game Lots of good plays and lots of hard hit balls I would say about 6 scouts in the stands! Very exciting for both teams! Play rubber game at Ed Price on Saturday at 6 I'm sure that the crowd will be big again ! Should ge a great game between to good teams.

    Sanderson 7 Heritage 4

    Sanderson moves to 11-5 on season and 6-2 in CAP8. Junior Daniel Dulaney was untouchable as he allowed only 1 base runner in 6 innings of work, striking out 10 with no walks and 1 hit before giving way to a shaky Sanderson bullpen in the 7th. Heritage tried to make a game of it scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th off of Sanderson Sophomore Ryan Jeffers. Senrior Owen Langston homered for the Spartans. Sanderson starts a tough week in conference pklay next week with Millbrook on Tuesday followed by Brughton and Leesville.

    Great game and well played by both teams. HPC scored on a bases loaded walk a bases loaded single and a passed ball in the 9th. Two good teams with a big crowd on hand!

    Lake Norman over Hough in 9

    Lake Norman wins over Hough in 9 innings. Senior pitchers Brandon Casas for Hough goes 7 shut out innings and Jon Stires for Lake Norman goes 8 shutout inings. With the game tied 0-0 in the top of the 9th, Hough scored a run and Lake Norman with a 2 RBI double from Chris Adelphia scores 2 to win the game in front of a large crowd for senior night at Lake Norman.
