    Glenn defeats Northwest Guilford 7-4 in 9 innings to win conference tournament..

    Spartans CAP8 Champs/ Laughlin gets 100th win

    Sanderson defeats Broughton 8-1 to claim the CAP8 Championship. Senior Tyler Hardee pitched 5 innings and allowed 0 runs. The Baseball Gods let the rain stay away so the Spartans were allowed to celebrate Senior night in style. Hardee was also 2-2 at the plate and Freshman Cory Wood found his stroke also going 2-2 on the night. It was agreat night for the Spartans all around as several Seniors stepped up and had great nights. Seniors Alton Best and Matt Mitchell each contributed a hit on the night as did Tim Smiley , Will Presson and CAS Silber. Owen Langston had a solid effort at SS and Daniel Ferrel was a rock behind the plate. Congrates go out to Todd Laughlin for picking up his 100th career win.
