Glenn and Northwest Guilford scheduled to play tonight at 7:00 for conference tourny champiponship - which is not happeneing...

The game must be played by Tuesday midnight to get seeding in/done for NCHSAA playoffs.

I have a couple of "feelers" out to teams/organizations who have a turfed field, but if anyone has a "connection" and could help in securing a sight for Tuesday afternoon/evening at a turfed field, I would appreciate any information/help.

While PMing is nice, cell is faster 336-816-6829.

    In Christ and baseball,
    Coach John Fowler, Glenn High

    No turf field needed............

God, who allows it to rain on the just and unjust, allowed what many thought would be a sure wash-out to be played on a day with 60%+ chances of rain throughout the day... and I thank HIM.

I also thank and give respect and honor to East Forsyth coach Alan Plaster. He worked on his field (the host site of the tournament) last night and several hours today with his father, to make sure a team (#6 seed Glenn) had the chance to play it out. Our win cost his team (#4 seed East) a playoff spot. It may be little compliment, but the man did an honorable, right thing - which many in today's culture may have neglected. He worked for kids not his own and for the sake of The Game. RESPECT...
