UNCW softball OK!!!!!

    Just got off the phone with Coach Norton. Softball is NOT being cut at UNCW.
    Thanks go out to all for the support. We made a difference according to what I hear.

    So excited for Kristy and Meredith. They can continue to grow their program into the beast it should be.

    That is great news to hear. Also hear they are not cutting any of the programs that they had on the chopping block.

    Thanks to all!

    I can say on good authority the coaching staff is very thankful for all the support they received through this. UNCW is a fantastic school. It was important that softball student-athletes (as well as T & F athletes and swimmers) have the option of being Seahawks.

    The program will continue improve. No school is for everybody but I hope travel ball and high school coaches and players will give these coaches an opportunity to share their vision with you. I don't think you'll disappointed.
