    Does anyone know why Carolina Heat dropped out of the playoffs?

    Not sure if umps know rules. Guy got thrown out at plate . Catcher was a couple feet up in base line. Our runner dove both arms extended tagged out in head. Our player goes out to the of then once coach argues they then toss player.

    Game 2 almost repeat of Game 1

    Mint Hill 11 Burke Co. 1 7 inn.

    Same score of game 1 as MH goes up 2-0 in series. Only game played after rain delays to start and mid game. Simmons again racks up offensive numbers with 3 hits and 5 RBI. Eisenbath throws CG 5 hitter (7IP) on 0 earned runs.
    MH travels to Morganton tomorrow at Shuey Field. Time yet to be determined.

    Late notice of location and time change....... MH and Burke Co, back at Independence High at 4pm tomorrow due to field conditions and extensive rain in Morganton. So sorry they have to travel again, that sucks. They will be the home team.

    Union County vs Asheville

    Asheville wins game 1 in one of the sloppiest games ever played. After coming from behind to take a 5-4 lead in the 6th, Asheville plates 5 in the 7th to win 10-4.

    Game 2 was started and then suspended in the top of the 2nd with UC leading 5-1, however Asheville has the bases loaded with no out when the games resumes. Plan is to resume this game and play Game 3 today in Asheville at 5pm, however with all the rain in that area, it doesn't appear that will happen.
