We will consider all positions. Our team will be a new team for the Lake Norman Fury for the Fall 2013. This team will consist primarily of ’03 birthdates but we will consider special '04 birthdates. Our goal is to play 10U in the Fall and 10U the following year.

The Lake Norman Fury Softball Organization is based in Denver, NC. Our mission is to provide a first class organization for young ladies to compete at the highest level. We strive to help our young ladies become better players on the field and better citizens in the community.

CAROLINA HIT-N-RUN 18/U (CLONTZ)

JUST A REMINDER-JULY 13TH @ 10AM

***DUE TO SIX (2013 SIGNEE’S) FUTHERING THEIR COLLEGIATE AND SOFTBALL CAREER-NAMES LISTED BELOW***​

The CAROLINA HIT-N-RUN ELITE (Clontz) will hold tryouts July 13TH at the Saint Stephen HS softball field in Hickory, NC. We will hold private individual tryouts by appointment per request.

The tryout starts at 3pm. Registration is required and is currently underway. To register for a tryout, please call or email Mark Clontz at (828)312-4837 or [email protected]. If July 9th tryout date presents a problem or conflict the coaching staff will set up individual tryouts to help with scheduling conflicts for prospects. Several positions will be opening including a showcase pitcher slot.

The Carolina Hit-N-Run organization was created to field teams of elite players throughout the state and region that are looking to play at a high or collegiate level. The goal of the Hit-N-Run is to help players extend their career beyond high school by preparing them to play at a high level, and presenting them to university and college recruiters.

The Carolina Hit-N-Run is a North Carolina Corporation and has obtained the IRS 501©(3) status to formally operate as an tax-exempt, non-profit corporation. The mission is to provide a professionally organized, structured, and supportive environment with quality development and professional coaching to inspire student athletes, and assist them in fulfilling their dreams of achievement in academic excellence, high level competition and playing collegiate softball.

The Carolina Hit-N-Run Elite have knowledgeable and experienced coaches for our teams that have proven experience teaching, coaching and exposing talented players to college coaches and programs. We play a competitive schedule at some of the best showcase tournaments in the state(s).

MARA Mustangs 14U Tryouts

The MARA Mustangs just completed it's first season together at 14U. While we had some mild success we know that we need to re-vamp the roster some in order to get where we want to be as a team. I know that joining a new team is not always the most ideal choice but it can be exciting in that you can be part of building something. We are committed to player development and improving as a team as we move through 14U and on. At MARA we offer some of the best facilities in the area and we have the support of one of the best athletic organizations in the area behind us.

Tryouts will be held Sunday, July 14th at 4:00 at Arthur Goodman Park in Matthews. The address is 1200 S Trade St, Matthews, NC 28105.

We are looking at all positions but we are in need of natural outfielders and middle infielders. Also, we are looking for pitching. If you are not getting the innings you would like or just looking for a new team come check us out. There will be an opportunity for plenty of mound time for the right person.

If you are interested in hearing what we are about and are willing to commit to the process of building a team please contact me for more information. We want girls that are committed to improving and winning - no rec ball mentalities. Also, drama amongst the girls or parents will not be tolerated.

Our thought process is that the fall season will be about development and coming together as a team. We will play 4-5 tournaments but the primary focus will be preparing for a successful spring season.

Carolina Angels 10U Open Practice and Tryouts

The Carolina Angels are putting together a new 10U team in the Fort Mill, SC area. We are looking for girls who LOVE the game of softball. We are about putting together a WINNING team, teaching the girls the right way to play the game of softball and have FUN. We have experienced high school coaches that will be assisting with hitting and pitching.

This will be a new addition to the Angels’ organization and we will be starting up a '03 team with some players already in place. We need to fill out the rest of the line up with girls that have travel ball experience and utility players.

We are opening up our practices for individual tryouts for those players that may not be available for our scheduled tryouts at the end of the month. Monday, July 22nd from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, SC. We will be holding tryouts at Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, SC on July 28th @ 4:00 and 29th @ 6:30.

The Carolina Angels 10U team practice 5 minutes from Pineville/Carowinds area; 10 minutes from Rock Hill and 15 minutes from Ballantyne area.

The Heat is coached by Steve Simmons and Joe Wakefield, long time veterans of Fastpitch, with experience in getting players recruited to the next level. To date all Heat players who pursued the opportunity to play college softball are either currently, formerly or about to have this recruited opportunity. Both coaches have daughters formerly and presently playing softball in college. The Foothills Heat is a regional team based out of Hickory, NC and we practice at Crest High School in Shelby NC. Our players are from; Hickory ,Shelby, Kings Mountain, Mooresville, Lincolnton, Concord, Rutherfordton, China Grove, Cherryville, Matthews and Belmont, NC.

The mission of The Foothills Heat Team is to provide each student athlete the opportunity to perform and compete against the best competition in a sportsman like manor. Our players goal is to earn the right to have the opportunity to play at the college level while keeping our focus on the real prize,

Team NC 18U holding tryouts for the 2013/2014 Season

After a very successful 2012/2013 season, Team NC 18U will be holding tryouts to search for talented players to fill the spots that will be left open as our Seniors move on to begin their college careers. Team NC’s 18U team is one of only 3 teams from North Carolina to have qualified for an ASA National berth. Along with the team’s achievements, individual players are being recognized for their abilities. The 11 juniors and seniors on Team NC 18U have all committed to play softball at the collegiate level, including schools such as UNC – Chapel Hill, Virginia Tech, Appalachian State, UNC – Greensboro, Western Carolina, Lincoln Memorial, Wingate, Drexel and Belmont Abby. Our 16U team also had a very successful season and we are adding a 14U team to our organization this fall.

We are looking to add a few players and families who are committed to playing at the highest level. We will be holding tryouts for the 18U team on July 27 at Providence High School from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm. Please email ([email protected]) to let us know if you are planning to attend. 2013-2014 NC CHALLENGERS TRYOUTS

NC Challengers, based out of Raleigh, will hold tryouts for their 16U and 18U teams coached by Adam Renzi as follows:

DATE & TIME: Saturday, August 17 @ 10:00 AM & Sunday, August 25 @ 2:00 PM.

PLACE: Meredith College Softball Field - 3800 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC

16 & Under. Team will be players with 2015, 2016, and 2017 HS graduation years. This team will play a highly competitive schedule and compete against some of the best teams in the country. The team's schedule will include competing in ASA or PGF National Championships and playing in high exposure events.

18 & Under. Team will be players entering into their senior year of HS (2014 graduates). This team will play a very challenging showcase schedule.

Chatham Elite 03/04 10U

The Chatham Elite Organization is excited to announce that we are building a 2003 10u team. If your daughter has a 2003 birthday or is a strong 2004 & you are looking for an organization for her to grow with, Coach Toby Strider would like to speak to you. This team will mainly practice in Randolph County.
The Chatham Elite Organization is based out of Chatham County but our teams & players are from all around the surrounding counties in North Carolina. We are an established organization that has been in operation for 12 years, we are also well known among College Coaches for bringing some of the top talent in the Carolinas to the game. We currently field competitive teams from 12U thru 18U but we are looking to expand to the younger age groups. Our 16U & 18U programs play showcase ball throughout the Southeast & have a great track record for getting our players signed to play College ball. The Chatham Elite has much to offer young players with dreams of playing in College someday.

Team NC Continues to Grow



After having a productive and incredibly successful season,Team NC has decided to expand their organization to include a 14U team. Team NC’s 18U team is one of only 3 teamsfrom North Carolina to have qualified for an ASA National berth. Along with the team’s achievements,individual players are being recognized for their abilities. Every junior and senior on Team NC 18U hascommitted to play softball in college, including schools such as UNC, Va Tech,UNC-Asheville, Lincoln Memorial, Western Carolina, Wingate, Appalachian Stateand Belmont Abby. To add to the TeamNC’s success and growth, a 16U team was added in the fall. The organization has now decided to furtherdevelop their strong foundation of achievement by adding a 14U team. We are looking for families that areinterested in taking their daughter’s game to the next level with this highlysuccessful organization. The team will be led by an assistant coachfrom Team NC’s 18U team and a head coach from a local high school. We will be holding try outs on July 27 (10am-12 noon) atProvidence High School.
