Randolph Co (#1) and Kernersville (#2) will represent Area III

    Get everyone caught up:

    2nd Rd results

    Rowan Co(22-7) swept Wilkes Co 3-0
    Mooresville(19-10) won 3 games to 2 against Stanly Co

    Randolph Co(25-5) swept Davidson Co 3-0
    Kernersville (26-6) won 3 games to 2 over High Point

    Kernersville and Mooresville had to win 2 games each Saturday just to rally from 2-1 deficits, may be a little weak on arms going into today's game 1 of 3rd rd series.

    Tonight:
    Kernersville is at Rowan Co
    Randolph Co is at Mooresville

    *All 4 teams won their respective divisions this year

    Game 2 final

    Randolph Co. 7
    Mooresville. 6. 10 inn

    Randolph rallied with 2 in the 6th and 2 in the 7th to force extras

    Game 3 final

    Randolph Co. 9
    Mooresville. 4

    Randolph used a 5 run first to take control early

    Randolph is comprised of 9 college freshman and 9 college signed Seniors! This team is for real and may not be the best team in the Area. Kernersville has more pitching, Area III will be represented well in Wilson.

    Randolph (30-5) wins series 2-0 earns #1 seed, Kernersville(29-8) will be the #2. Good luck to both in Wilson!
