Garner (#1) and Wilson (host) will represent Area I

    From what I can tell:

    WEST
    Cary and Johnston County are 1-1 in Best of 3 with Game 3 on Wednesday night at Smithfield Selma HS.

    Garner and Durham are tied 1-1. Wednesday at Northern Durham HS.

    EAST
    Rocky Mount vs Pitt County starts Wednesday night 2nd Round
    Not sure of the other two... Maybe Kinston and West Carteret in Round 2?

    Garner up 2-1 in series over Durham (unless tonights game is ruled to be completed tomorrow)

    Wilson up 1-0 over Kinston

    Pitt up 1-0 over Rocky Mount

    Garner is up 1-0 on Johnston County. Game 2 tonight at Garner.

    Not sure Pitt Co/RM Series or Kinston/Wilson series.

    Area I (East) update

    Wilson Post 13 lost a heartbreaker to Pitt Co. Post 39 on Monday night. Wilson had a 7-4 lead heading into the top of the 9th. and gave up 5 runs for a 9-7 loss. Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday night 7:00pm @ Fleming Stadium.

    best of 5 series, Pitt Co. 1 - Wilson 0

    Area I Playoffs

    Game 2 - Wilson Post 13 loss 4-6 to Pitt Co Post 39 @ Fleming Stadium, Wilson

    Game 3 - Wilson Post 13 Loss 2-5 to Pitt Co Post 39 @ American Legion Field Rocky Mount.

    Pitt Co completes the three game sweep of Wilson Post 13

    Pitt Co Post 39 moves on to play Garner Post 232 for Area I Championship.

    Garner Post 232 is up 2-0 in the Best of 5 Series for Area I Title over Pitt County. Game 3 is Sunday evening at Garner HS at 7pm. Remember, only the Area I Champ advances to the State Tourney this year since Wilson Post 13 is hosting.

    Post 232 sweeps Pitt County Post 39 for the Area I Title. Garner and Wilson will represent Area I in the State Tournament held in Wilson.
