The Lake Norman Lightning 14-u Pitcher/SS/Utility

The Lake Norman Lightning 14-u team will be holding tryouts for 99 or select 00 girls on December 8th at 3:30 on the campus of North Mecklenburg High School, in Huntersville, NC

We are a very competitive and successful team that competes in NSA and ASA tournaments. We are looking for an "A" bracket pitcher and a short stop or utility player. This team will eventually become a showcase team.

12U fast pitch team out of Taylorsville, NC looking for a catcher and utility player for the spring of 2014. Will be playing mostly ASA and NSA tournaments in North and South Carolina. Charlotte Starz 14U Purple Tryout Time Changed

The Charlotte Starz 14U Purple tryout times previously advertised for 10:00 to 12:30 has been changed to 11:00 to 1:30, same date and location. Please see original posting below.

The Charlotte Starz 14U Purple is holding an open tryout on December 7th from 10:00am to 12:30pm at East Lincoln Middle School softball field.

The Starz 14U Purple is primarily a 2000 team, and has enjoyed great success this year with several A bracket tournament championships. Head Coach Mike Stolzenbach will continue to lead the team in 2014 in NSA, ASA, and other top level 14U tournaments.

Coach Mike is looking for athletic, coachable girls who have a strong desire to play in college. We place a premium on character and attitude, as well as a strong supportive family.

The Charlotte Starz is a Showcase based organization that is focused on helping our girls realize the dream of playing college ball. Starz teams are universally known for their sound fundamental defense and aggressive, opportunistic offense. Our practices make use of traditional and cutting-edge individual and team drills devoted to basic diamond skills and concepts. Our players learn in a fast-paced, team-first environment where we strive to give them the skills, knowledge and awareness to take their games to the highest levels. The goal of the coaches and the organization is to grow their players into honorable, dedicated, exceptional college student athletes.

MSA COBRAS 14U -- Looking for 2 Pitchers

Hello Softball Parents/Players


The MSA Cobras 14U, consisting of 99&00 birthdays is looking for two pitchers for the 2014 season. We need one established pitcher to assume our #1/2 pitching position and we also have the need for a pool game pitcher who has solid fundamentals and wants to develop into a bracket pitcher. We will be playing in 'B' division tournaments in the Spring and look to be competitive at that level. Our emphasis is on true sportsmanship, skill development, mental preparation and confidence building. This is a great opportunity for the girl or girls who are specifically looking for a lot of mound time to develop her skills both physically and mentally and take her game to the next level.


MSA Cobras is a Matthews/Mint Hill/So. Charlotte Softball organization and practices at Matthews Elementary School, Providence HS and Crestdale Middle School. We have an established team with great team chemistry and outstanding parental support. We are seeking girls that can fill our pitching need but also are a good player and family fit.

Team NC 10U looking for pitcher and utility player.

Team NC 10U looking for pitcher and utility player. After having a very productive and successful year with its 18U, 16U and 14U programs Team NC is growing its organization by adding a 10U program. We are proud to have an outstanding group of 03 players and parents that have been playing travel ball together now for two years and are looking for a pitcher and utility player with strong bats to fill out its Spring 2014 roster. This team has been and will continue to pride itself on being competitive and teaching the proper fundamentals/mechanics of the game to ensure each player will progress the right way as they advance through their career. By introducing this mind set at an early age helps to ensure each player is prepared for the next level of competition which shows through our two 18U teams, Team NC 18U Gold Team sponsored by Louisville Slugger and Team NC 18U Elite. This program has a very high success rate of getting players signed with top level colleges across the southeast. Cleveland Angels 02 looking for players

Cleveland Angels 02 fastpitch travel softball team is looking for committed 02 or 03 players at all positions. We are a new team going into our first Spring/Summer season. We are in need of pitchers, catchers and strong utility players. The Angels can offer LOW PLAYER FEES, strong coaching that stresses fundamentals, emphasis on how to play a position, consistent practice schedule and our own fields for practice and tournaments. Our Winter practice schedule is Wednesday's 7 - 8:30 and Sunday's 6:30 - 8:30. MARA Mustangs 14U - Spring Tryouts

The MARA Mustangs 14U are looking to add 3-4 talented players for the upcoming spring season. We need a catcher and at least one pitcher but all positions will be evaluated. We are an up and coming program based in Matthews, NC with one of the top facilities in the area. We are a team made up of primarily 2000 birthdays that played 14u last year due to having a couple of 99s. The experience of playing up a year early has positioned us to take a huge step forward this spring as we begin playing at our age level. We have a high focus on player development and have done things in the past such as team camps at Wingate University to further that goal. We have a great core group of girls and parents and will not accept the softball "drama" from parents or players.

We would prefer 2000 birthdays but will consider 2001 if it's the right player. If you have a great attitude, are committed to softball and want to be a part of building a great team please consider coming to one of our tryouts listed below. CAROLINA COMETS 16U

The Carolina Comets are forming a new 16-U showcase team based out of Pineville NC ( south Charlotte ) area .
We are looking for strong "A" caliber athletes that are self motivated and dedicated to playing at the highest level . We are seeking athletes with 2016 graduating class or earlier. All positions will be evaluated .
Group workouts are currently scheduled for December 14th and 15th at X-1 Academy ( X1 Athletic Academy - powered by Oasys Sports ) . Our plan is to have two group sessions since space will be limited . This particular weekend will be the first of several workouts/tryouts to come as we look to fill our roster for the spring of 2014.
This time will also allow coaches , athletes and parents a chance to meet and answer questions that may arise going forward .

To get on our group workout list for the weekend of December14th and 15th please contact our staff . ( please bring all gear , water and wear tennis shoes or turf shoes - no cleats )
