The Lady Tigers 05 will be conducting 10U tryouts for the Fall 2014 season on July 22, 23, & 24. Contact us at the email below for location and times.

We will continue the high competitive structure we are currently endeavoring. We will be looking for highly motivated, dedicated, and advanced skilled players. Early individual or small group pre-evaluations are currently available "NOW" by appointment only. We will be looking at all positions & will need an experience pitcher!

The Lady Tigers 05 is a member of the Lady Tigers Fast Pitch Organization based out of Mount Pleasant, NC in Cabarrus County and surrounding counties. Our goal is to teaching fundamental skills for our players to exceed at higher levels of competition. We strive to maintain a strong and competitive program.

Carolina Mash open workouts/tryouts

Carolina Mash will be holding open workouts as soon as school ball is complete twice weekly, saturday mornings, and wednesday evenings in the Oxford NC area. We currently have a 14u, 12u, and 10u teams, in 2 short years we have grown quite a bit. The 14u team currently has players from Granville, Vance, Wake and Halifax county. In July I will be conducting tryouts for a 16u and possibly another 14u team. The 16u team will begin playing showcase tournaments this Fall, right now we are slated for Heartland in the Roanoke Valley and the Early Signing Showcase in Myrtle Beach, I will be adding 1 or 2 more showcase events to the Fall schedule soon. We will also play 4 or 5 traditional bracket type tournaments as well this Fall. The team is coached by myself not a dad and two young ladies who recently completed their college careers, their experience inculdes JUCO, D2, and D1 experience so a broad range, there is absolutely no daddy ball on this team. Our schedule could be termed as a regional showcase team, in the future we will play showcase tournaments in NC and border states of NC. We instruct in all areas of the game ptiching, hitting, defensive skills, as well as conditioning and strength training. If you or your child has a desire to be part of a team that will work them hard and prepare them for the college game, I would encourage you to come out over the summer for some of our workouts, its free and will give you a chance to see if we can help you in the future. My experience expands more then a decade and I also coach at the high school level, and have a strong understanding of the relationship between school ball and travel ball and try to work with all coaches or instructors involved in the development of players. 2nd NC Spark 14u team forming

More than 40 girls expressed interest in the NC Spark leading up to last weekend's tryout. Over 30 of them were able to make it to the tryout while others were fortunate enough to play well into the evening on Sunday and could not make it to the tryout.

The interest in the team did not stop on Sunday as the list continues to grow by more than a dozen this week alone. This puts the NC Spark in the fortunate situation to be able to form two teams for the 2014 and 2015 season made up of highly talented and experienced travel ball players. Individual tryouts will be scheduled over the next week for those that may have missed the tryout on Sunday or may have just learned about the buzz and the type of players that have already committed to the NC Spark.

If you are a serious, dedicated, and experienced player looking to join an organization with clearly defined, high expectations and focused more on learning and mastering the finer details of the game, than simply chasing a trophy, contact us at [email protected].

As with all teams being built at this time, an experienced pitcher and catcher is wanted. While the efforts of those that tried out on Sunday were very impressive and commendable, we do not want to close the door on those that cannot make it simply due to timing.

This team will be led by Coach Rich Fountain, as he shares the same philosophy and demands as Coach Shayne Latino. The roster will be limited to only 10 players at this time, to save room for an 11th player once it is clearly noted where depth is needed. The roster will never exceed 11 players or pitchers struggling to get circle time.

Southern Wake Wrath 10U

Southern Wake Wrath 10U is forming a new team with ladies looking to be a part of an organization devoted to enhancing their game by mastering the fundamentals and learning the finer details of the game. We are looking for athletes who choose to improve their softball skills both physically and mentally while working with an experienced coaching staff. The team will consist of mostly "04" & "05" girls but all 10U eligible players are welcomed.

Early individual and small group pre-evaluations are an option and will be conducted by appointment for players interested. The 10U team tryouts will be in mid/late July tentatively scheduled 7/20 as always feel free to contact us as well for further information or to schedule alternative and individual tryouts. We will compete in various leagues ASA, Top Gun, NSA, USSSA and other formats that offer the highest competition for our players.
