Carolina Angels 12U Arnold

The Carolina Angels are moving on up. Our successful 10u team of girls are agingup, so we are moving up to a 12U team. We are about putting together a competitive team, teaching the girls theright way to play the game of softball and have FUN. We have experienced highschool coaches that will be assisting with hitting and pitching. We are looking for girls who LOVE the game ofsoftball.

This will be an addition to the successful Angels’organization and we will be starting up a team with some players already inplace. We need to fill out the rest of the line up with girls that have travelball experience and great attitudes.

We will be holding tryouts at Nation Ford High School inFort Mill, SC on the following dates:

Wednesday , July 16th 6:00 - 8:00pm
Sunday, July 20th 1:00 - 3:00pm
Wednesday, July 23rd 6:00 - 8:00pm
Sunday, July 27th 1:00 - 3:00
Wednesday, July 30th 6:00 - 8:00pm

10u Lady Predators

The 10u Lady Predators will be holding open tryouts coming up on July 22nd and July 29th from 5:30pm-8pm. Tryouts will be held both days at the Ruritan field on Fanny Brown Rd. in Raleigh/Willow Springs. We are based out of the Fuquay Varina/Willow Springs area and practice locally. All 10u age girls and all positions will be considered, we are especially looking to add another bracket pitcher. If you are interested in playing with a group of girls and coaches that pride themselves in respect, great sportsmanship, always reaching for the next level, and a family like atmosphere then you should come see us and try out. We can also arrange individual or private tryouts if you prefer that. We are looking to kick off the season playing our first tournament August 9th-10th in Myrtle Beach along with another 6-7 tournaments through the rest of the year. We will try to keep most local when possible but can't promise. NC Challengers 18u North

We currently are looking to add 2 players to our already strong roster. We are looking for an experienced Showcase level pitcher, preferably with a strong bat and ability to play other positions with graduation years 2015-2017. 2nd opening is to replace a MI/Utility player that is going off to college next month. Chatham Elite 16U Showcase Team

The Chatham Elite 16U Showcase team is looking for a Pitcher & a Utility player that is a future 2016 or 2017 graduate & is looking to play beyond High School. Our 16U Showcase team is made up of individuals that want to play College Ball & are willing to work hard to get there.

The Chatham Elite Organization is based out of Chatham County but our players are from several of the surrounding counties. We are an established organization that has been in operation for 12 years, we are also well known among College Coaches for bringing some of the top talent in the Carolinas to the game. Our 16U & 18U programs play showcase ball throughout the Southeast & have a great track record for getting our players signed to play College ball.

Charlotte Magic 14u "A" team looking to add collegiate-minded players

Due to some of our existing players moving up to our organization's 18u showcase team after this summer, the Charlotte Magic 14u "A" team will be holding open tryouts for the upcoming fall season. All positions and eligible ages will be considered.

This summer was the first for the Charlotte Magic 14u team and we saw outstanding achievements for a brand new squad. We carried 13 players representing 13 different schools and 3 states. The Magic has been consistently ranked among the best teams in the Carolinas and competes only in ASA and NSA "A" level tournaments, finishing 5th at the Mighty Casey and placing 2nd at the Xeno World Qualifier - earning us a birth to the 2014 NSA "A" World Series which we will be participating in this July. This fall we will continue to compete only in ASA and NSA tournaments as well as 2-3 collegiate showcase events while serving as a stepping stone to the showcase team.

Additionally, the 14u Charlotte Magic has an all-female, all-player coaching staff. Head Coach Myka Wright Cygielman is a decorated former collegiate coach and player from Southern California who emphasizes mental toughness and leadership. An all-conference catcher and shortstop in college, she works with hitters, infielders, and catchers on an in depth level. Nicole Stovall is a rising senior captain at Belmont Abbey who focuses on outfield, lefty-hitting, and base running. Mallory Broome is a rising junior at Western Carolina University and one of the starting pitchers for the Catamounts. She works closely with our pitchers on both their physical and mental game. While Nicole and Mallory are in-season, the coaches from the 18u Charlotte Magic Showcase team will be lending a hand to Coach Myka.

PLEASE NOTE - This 14u team is specifically designed, organized, and coached to prepare athletes for a continuing career in collegiate softball. While we play to win, we emphasize building knowledge, leadership, and mental toughness in players who have the potential to succeed at the next level. This is not a team for those who want to simply win trophies; it is a team for those who want to prepare to be seen by coaches at a showcase level and eventually play in college. We put a lot of responsibility on the players and simulate a collegiate environment. The coaching staff also assists with player profiles, skills videos, and all aspects of the recruiting process.

Tryouts will be at the field at Northside Christian Academy (entrance is at the intersection of West Sugar Creek and The Roman Road in Charlotte) July 26th from 11pm - 1pm. Pitchers and catchers should expect to stay later. We will hold additional tryouts if necessary. Charlotte Starz 14-U/16-U Tryouts

The Charlotte Starz will be holding combined tryouts for our 14-U Futures team and 16-U Showcase team on the following dates:

- Sunday, July 20th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- Wednesday, August 6th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Both tryouts will be held at our home fields at James Martin Middle School, conveniently located in the University-area of Charlotte. The address is 7800 IBM Drive, Charlotte, NC 28262.

The 14-U Futures team is a showcase-prep team for girls who have a desire to play in college. It is composed primarily of rising 8th and 9th graders who are looking for a very competitive team on which to develop their skills through expert coaching and challenging bracket-play tournaments in preparation for the move to full-time showcase softball in the fall of 2015.

Our 16-U Showcase team is for players up to rising HS juniors who possess the talent and skills that will allow them to excel in major regional showcases beginning in the fall of 2014. Players who join this team must have a strong desire to play softball in college and the dedication to work hard in the classroom, on the ballfield, and in the recruiting process.

Team NC Organization Tryouts - August 16, 2014

Team NC has had an very successful 2014 spring/summer season. Our 14U Holmes, 16U Elite and 18U Louisville Slugger teams each captured the ASA State Championships this year and will be traveling to San Diego, Salem, VA and Montgomery, AL to represent North Carolina at the ASA "A" Nationals! Our 14U Presley and 14U Light teams finished 2nd and 3rd in the NSA States!!

The Team NC Organization will be holding tryouts for age groups 12U through 18U on Saturday, August 16th, 2014 at Eagle Park at Winthrop University. The rain date will be Sunday, August 17th and we will update our website and this posting in the event that we must move the tryouts to Sunday.

The schedule is as follows:

12U - 9am - 11am
14U - 1pm - 3pm
16U & 18U - 4pm - 6pm

Please arrive early to complete any paperwork and to be warmed up and ready to go at the start of your group's tryout time.
