Carolina Angels 16U/Fort Mill, SC Tryouts

The Carolina Angels are seeking elite travel ball experienced players to complete our fall 2014 roster. We will be playing several showcase events with a focus on college recruiting.
Open tryouts will be held on:
Date: Saturday August 2nd and Sunday August 3rd

NC Sun Devils Elite 16u Open Tryouts....

The NC Sun Devils Elite 16u Showcase team is having open tryouts Tuesday August 12 and Thursday August 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 at South Iredell high school (299 Old Mountain Road Statesville, NC 28677). Head coach Emily Schroeder was a four year starter at UNC-Charlotte and her husband Nick, team manager, is a local college Athletic Director. Their contacts along with the teams' hard work is instrumental in our girls playing in college.

Advanced registration is welcomed for planning purposes, but not required.

A little information on the NC Sun Devils Elite program:
The North Carolina Sun Devils Elite is a high level competitive Fastpitch organization located in the Hickory/Statesville Area. The organization has seen amazing success since the inception of the team in the 2000′s. The NC Sun Devils Elite competes in showcase and qualifier tournaments all over the east coast and have developed multiple collegiate softball athletes.

The North Carolina Sun Devils Elite prides itself on training young women to develop the physical and mental abilities to be successful at the collegiate softball level. Players are expected to work hard on the field and in the classroom.

Lady Blues Martin joins Team NC!!

Lady Blues Martin is now a member of Team NC. The team will begin competing under the Team NC banner this fall.


This year, the team competed in a number of great tournaments including the TCS Rising Stars 18U tournament in Ft. Lauderdale where they won their pool and bracket, earned a 16U PGF National Tournament Berth in their fist attempt in Myrtle Beach, won their Colorado Sparkler 18U pool and finished 9th out of 154 teams, placed 5th at the 18U ASA State Tournament, and competed in the PGF 16U National Championship in Huntington Beach, CA.


We are proud to be a part of Team NC and we look forward to continuing to improve as a team. We are interested in adding pitching depth, a slapper, and overall speed to our strong lineup and encourage strong 2015's, 16's and 17's to contact us a [email protected].


This fall we will compete in the UNC Showcase, Clash II, Diamond Classic, Diamond 9, and the Elite 90.


18U Team NC tryouts will be held on August 16th at Winthrop University, more information on timing will be provided shortly.

NC Challengers Renzi - Seeks '16/'17/'18 Pitcher, Catcher, Middle Infielder

NC Challengers Renzi is seeking a strong 2016, 2017, or 2018 graduate that can add to the team roster as a pitcher, catcher, or middle infielder. Strong bats at any position are also welcome.

We will have a team practice / tryout for these positions on Sunday, August 3. We play a very competitive national schedule with a mixture of competitive qualifiers/nationals and exposure – designed to develop players and provide them with recruiting opportunities.

NC THUNDER TRYOUT

UPDATE: Open tryouts for the NC Thunder 18U team will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2014. We have a few openings for all positions. We are primarily looking for athletic players who are committed to continuing their softball career at the next level and willing to commit to do what is required to be successful. NC Thunder has a strong history of developing athletes and preparing them for college. Players must be good students in good academic standing to be considered. We stress time management and commitment to developing you to your highest potential.

This is a new start-up 10U team that is backed by a very well established organization and is looking to move forward as team/core unit until the girls are playing ball in college. The Starz organization has a long winning tradition and looks to add to that tradition with this new 10U program. No matter the age or if you need to move up, this is an excellent time to get into this organization. We will have tryouts this weekend.
