Lady Blues 03 12u Tryouts

The Lady Blues will have tryouts for 12u players with DOB's 03 and 04 for the upcomg Fall and Spring. We are looking to add 1 or 2 players to our team that won the ASA State this year in 10u and finished 4th in the NSA State. We will have tryouts August 9th from 11am to 1pm at 277 Modway Lake Road, Mooresville, NC 28115 and have tryouts August 23rd in Rock Hill, SC from 5pm-6:30pm at Hargett field. We have players from across NC and SC. Our last two 10u tournaments will be in Concord 7/11-13 and the ASA National in Johnson City, TN 7/27-8/2. We look to travel to play in the best tournaments in NC, SC, TN, VA, GA and FL to give these girls a chance to be seen so they can play at the next level.

Charlotte Starz 14/16/18-U Tryouts

The Charlotte Starz will be holding combined tryouts for our 14-U Futures, 16-U Showcase, and 18-U Elite teams on the following dates:

- Saturday, August 16th from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
- Saturday, August 23th from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

These tryouts are in addition to our scheduled 14/16-U tryouts at Martin Middle on Wednesday, August 6th. Interested 14-U and 16-U players are strongly encouraged to attend this tryout.

Both tryouts will be held at our home fields at James Martin Middle School, conveniently located in the University-area of Charlotte. The address is 7800 IBM Drive, Charlotte, NC 28262.

The 14-U Futures team is a showcase-prep team for girls who have a desire to play in college. It is composed primarily of rising 8th and 9th graders who are looking for a very competitive team on which to develop their skills through expert coaching and challenging bracket-play tournaments in preparation for the move to full-time showcase softball in the fall of 2015.

Our 16-U Showcase team is for players up to rising HS juniors who possess the talent and skills that will allow them to excel in major regional showcases beginning in the fall of 2014. Players who join this team must have a strong desire to play softball in college and the dedication to work hard in the classroom, on the ball field, and in the recruiting process.

Our 18-U Elite team is for players in the graduating classes of 2017 and 2018 who know they want to play in college and believe they have the skills and experience that will allow them to reach that goal. These prospects will have the opportunity to play with 7 or more committed college recruits on what was the number 1 ranked 16-U NC team at the 2013 Atlanta Legacy Showcase. They must be committed to hard work in the classroom, on the ballfield, and in the recruiting process.
