14u Futures and 18u Elite has an immediate need for 'A' Bracket Pitchers and Catchers. Both age groups are instructed by Coach Nathan Russell. Coach Russell has lead the 18u Elite successfully for 8 seasons, instrumentally guiding athletes through the college recruiting process (NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA & JUCCO). More importantly, Coach Russell is starting his 4th season as an assistant coach at North Carolina Central University (NCAA Division I).
12U Daye is a 2nd year squad that is being prepped for collegiate level under Coach Russell’s mentoring. 12U Daye needs 3 experienced and coachable ’02-’03 utility players with strong bats and speed to complete the 2014-2015 roster.

Scheduled events will offer an opportunity to play against the best competition and exposure to college coaches all over the nation. If you desire guidance and mentoring, and you are willing to work hard on and off the field, we would love to have you work out with our team!

NC Xtreme Try Out

Sunday August 24th at 1:30-3:30 North Lincoln High School, NC Xtreme16U will hold a open Practice/Try Out. All positions will be evaluated, looking for a catcher and a pitcher.

FIRECRACKERS NC TRYOUTS- ONE MORE DATE

We are proud to announce the Firecrackers- NC will be holding one additional tryout for our 14U, 16U & 18U teams on August 23rd at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville NC.

Firecrackers Softball

14u, 16u & 18U will tryout on Saturday August 23RD. Pitchers and catchers will tryout from 10 AM to 12 PM. All other positions will tryout from 2-5 PM. Registration will begin 30 minutes prior to each tryout time.

The Firecrackers NC are fortunate to also have Taryne Mowatt, a 2-time National Champion pitcher with Arizona, winner of 2 ESPY's and former NPF player as the pitching coach/pitching director for our organization. We also have our own private indoor facility where will will provide year-round training where we will give more to our players and parents than just a uniform and tournaments!

It is our goal as an organization to teach our players important life lessons through the game of softball, such as discipline, hard work, commitment, perseverance and the value of teamwork.


We are proud of the success that Firecracker players have experienced in Travel Ball, at the College Level, at the Professional Level and at the National Team Level. It is the goal of the coaching staff to provide an environment to develop the individual skills of each of our players to the best of our ability. We will also emphasize to all members the importance of team play and accomplishing our goals as a team. We know that we will incur failure over the course of the year, but understand that making mistakes is an opportunity to learn.

Although individual awards and accolades are great, it is our belief that nothing beats accomplishing goals as a TEAM, because when the team succeeds, we all succeed, no matter what individual role we played in that success. And we want to promote the success of all travel ball players, not just Firecrackers.

Carolina Comets 16U Gold - Hall Tryouts

The Carolina Comets 16U Gold Showcase Team is looking to add 2 players. Our team is based out of Mooresville, North Carolina. Our team completed a very competitive and successful Summer Season. We will be playing tournaments in Spartanburg, SC, Western Carolina, Greenville, SC, Raleigh NC, New Jersey, Rock Hill, SC, Champions Tournament in Georgia and the Sun Classic at ESPN in Orlando.
