Tarheel Stars 18u Open Roster Position Tryouts

The Tarheel Stars 18u team (Armendarez) will hold individual tryouts for the upcoming 2015 Spring/Summer season on Saturday, February 14. The tryouts will be held during the next practice. The location will be announced to those that register, and will be determined by the weather forecast for that day. There are multiple positions open, with an emphasis on a pitcher, catcher and OF. Tryouts will continue at each practice until we fill the roster for the 2015 Spring/Summer half season (12 to 14 players).

The Stars have players on our rosters from all over the state, and practice primarily in the central part of the state (a short drive from the Triad, an hour from the Triangle, Charlotte or the foothills). We also rotate practice in the RTP area and have an indoor facility for winter workouts and inclement weather. The Stars program has an extensive off season program for skills development and conditioning, and plays regional showcase and championship tournaments. We have 7 showcase and championship tournaments scheduled for the 2015 spring/summer season, including Scenic City, TN; The Legendary PGF Showcase, Va. Beach; TC Nationals, Myrtle Beach; Hall Of Fame Qualifier, Raleigh; Dynamite Classic, Spartanburg and the East Coast Fireworks, Rock Hill. Over the past few years, the Stars tournament schedule includes Pennsbury, the Atlanta Legacy, Diamond 9 (summer and fall), Champions 90 (GA), Eastern Elite (TN), ASA Heartland and Scrappers Showcases (VA).

Hometown Carlsbad, NM - 1998 graduate of Indiana University as a 4 Time All Big Ten and 2 Time All American. Following her outstanding college career Monica ("Moni") played in the Women's Professional Softball League with the Carolina Diamonds for two seasons, where in 1999 she set the WPSL single-season home run record (12), one season for the WPSL All-Star Team, as well as a season with the Akron Racers. Coach Moni has over ten (10) years a SUCCESSFUL an 18U travel ball Head Coach, placing players in college programs throughout the state, region and country.

Team NC-Presley is looking to add a pitcher

Team NC-Presley is looking to add a pitcher, preferably a 2000 birthday (Or Strong 2001). We will be competing in the TOP showcase tournaments on the East Coast this Spring and Summer. We will also attempt to qualify for ASA Nationals. The Team NC organization has compiled over 50 college commitments in the last 3 years. With this schedule and organization, you will be seen! High Point Rockers 16U Showcase looking for players

This spring/summer/fall we will be playing a mixture of “A” Level tournaments and Showcase events. We are looking for an “A” level pitcher and a couple of utility players that are dedicated as our existing core group of players and parents. Extreme Perfomance-Cook will be holding open tryouts as we prepare for our Spring/Summer Season. We focus on top showcase events in North Carolina and South Carolina with maximum exposure. We are dedicated to helping players committed to playing at the next level.

The TC Rockets are looking for pitchers, short stop and utility players to fill out the 2015 Roster. While we intend on filling a 16U roster, if circumstances/opportunities prevail we may opt for an 18u team.

The Tega Cay (TC) Rockets were formed in 2009. The team grew into an organization hosting multiple teams in different age brackets. As of January 2015, Mr. Bret Wolf has assumed the head coaching position of the 16u/18u team. 2014 was a banner year for the Rockets who won the USSSA SC State Championships and went to the USSSA World Series in FL. We wish to continue and build upon this success moving forward.

We are looking for:
Well rounded players with a good attitude and work ethic.
Team players who know how to work hard yet have fun while doing so.
Most importantly we are seeking young women who want to play softball to the best of their ability and who want to learn to be better competitors.

LOOKING FOR 1 MORE!

The Carolina Force 18U Elite team, is looking for a pitcher to finalize our roster. We are looking for girls that have great work ethics, and who are dedicated and committed. Looking for great attitudes and good Sportsmanship and wanting to play at the collegiate level. Check us out on our website fastpitch click on the 18U Elite page and just scroll down to the bottom of the page, for our schedule that is a work in progress. We will be working hard to get these girls the college exposure, we are playing several showcase, and working on college invitationals, along with camps. We currently have 11 awesome players! We have several fundraisers set in place that should cover the team fees for the year. We will not be playing until High School Ball is over, but need to get the team set, so we can begin our fundraisers and get everything set in place for 2015.
