    It's a shame

I try not to post too much on the web. But enough is enough.
I get so tired of all the lies and the backstabbing by people I have considered friends such as Snowman and others.

If we win, we're cheating. If we lose, we're somehow cheating. We're just cheaters I guess!
    We rig all our tournaments.
If we play certain opponents, and win, it always cheating.
There was a hard three game series vs the LLGTM.
There were calls that went both ways. We got our tail kicked in the first game and came back in the next two. We played good enough to win 2 out of 3. But because my kids out played a LLGTM, there are some so called "friends" in the softball community that want to say we somehow cheated. To those backstabbers, be men and call me! You won't because you are spineless.

At some point this is still about one group of kids who played their hearts out. You weren't there. How do you even know what happened.
I tell you what happened. We rattled the mighty, PGF LLGTM who had a stacked team from all over! And we won the NCASA State with mostly NC kids!
LLGTM played well but not well enough. All I have heard for a month is how LLGTM was going to win the ASA State. They didn't! Get over it.

The true colors came out after the last game when a parent from LLGTM started threatening umpires and folks from our team. A real class act I would say.
If someone has something to say to me, please, my phone number is 336-416-6056. I will be glad to take your call!

We played the Cards twice (Team NC Martin) and lost 3-0 and 2-1. Both games hinged on a couple of plays...they got the timely hits and played cleaner ball, they earned/deserved both wins. I'm sure neither team thought the umpires were perfect, but they certainly were NOT slated toward or against either team. In our two games, we had 4 different umpires. All coaches and parents treated them with respect and we all got respect back from them.In the final game in the bottom of the 7th, we were out at the plate on a suicide squeeze that would have tied the game. It was a close play but my player was OUT. In 14 innings against the Cards last weekend the Umpires played no larger role than they did in the other 6 games I played. Both coaching staffs and all of the girls on both sides were friendly and respectful to each other and to the umpires who called the games straight up.My two losses had nothing to do with the umpires and both games were as close as they could be...a big two out hit in either game and Team NC is up or the Cards break it open. That's the way it goes with two quality teams. We accepted our losses to a team that was better in those two games (we, of course, still think we can win against them and I think Rick would expect we would think that we can win!).I know a lot of the girls on the Cardinals through coaching them at younger ages or coaching against them for years, they earned their wins against me and I can't imagine that wasn't the case in all of the games they played last weekend.Congrats to all of the Cardinals coaches, players, and parents on EARNING the 18U NC ASA State Championship.

My guess is Rick didn't sign blue's checks for this weekends tournament being the NCASA State Championship. I never get why parents bitch about playing in Rick's tournaments. If you don't like it, then don't play. But you can't can you? Why? The reason you can't is because no one else would even try to produce the number of tournaments he does year in, and year out. Rick will tell you he, Sharon, and Daphne are continuing Ray's vision for fastpitch softball in our State. I've told him he's crazy for putting up with the pressure, and bitching. But he still does it, and somehow wins games at the same time. Before you bitch next time, you should walk with Rick for just 15 minutes at the next tournament. I think you would have a different perspective. Mostly, I respect Rick because he makes mistakes, and will tell you he makes mistakes. Like him or not, Rick does more for softball in this State than the rest of us combined.

I was wondering who the players were on the top teams at the ASA State tourney. Could someone post the rosters of the top teams?
