2015 tryouts, players wanted, teams wanted

*Lady Lightning East Open Tryouts 8/22 @ 3pm!

The Lady Lightning East, a 2019/2020 team is a Regional Team, part of the National Lady Lightning Gold Showcase Organization. Our goal is to develop talented young ladies in preparation for our National Program. The Lady Lightning Organization consistently, year in and year out, is one of the TOP showcase organizations in the country, placing girls every year in top Division 1 schools. All of our girls have a strong desire to play at the collegiate level.

Our team goal is to play our age bracket in National Qualifiers, National Championships and World Series tournaments. Outside of those tournaments we will be playing a 16U College Showcase schedule. By doing that, the girls will still have the spirit of competing to win Championships as well as Showcasing their talent at the many college exposure tournaments. We plan to play in 4-6 tournaments in the Fall Season. At least two, if not three of those tournaments will be 16U Showcase events.

We are having Open Tryouts on Saturday, August 22nd at 3pm. All positions will be considered. Each girl must have travel experience, have the desire to play at the National and collegiate level, and be willing to travel. All girls will be expected to excel in school as well as on the ball field. Report cards will be checked to ensure that the girls are putting their studies first. We also expect our girls (team) to give back to their community by volunteering for various service opportunities.

Class of 2018 looking for a team in Hickory/Statesville/Charlotte area

My daughter is 15 years old (class of 2018) looking for a team thats willing to give her a tryout in the mid or western nc area. She is a decent pitcher with good placement, +300 avg batter, can play 1st,3rd and outfield if needed. Please if there are any teams willing to give us a tryout it would be very appreciated! NC Xtreme Showcase looking for players

NC Xtreme Showcase is looking for a few players to complete the roster for the coming Fall 2015 and 2016 playing season. Our organization currently fields teams from 8U-Showcase. Our goal is to make the girls better ball players and outstanding athletes out in the community.

Looking for 00, 99 and 98 birthdays. Catcher, Pitcher and Outfielders. We practice in the Lincolnton/Denver area.

Our schedule consists of mostly ASA and Cardinal tournaments.
The Coach, Jessica Fellmeth is a Lenoir Rhyne Alumni and is very active in hitting and fielding lessons within the organization.

Carolina Cardinals 16U Tryouts Update

Due to the rain this week, the tryout scheduled for this Saturday August 22nd will not be held because of field work on the infield at the high school that has been pushed back. Those of you who have already responded to me for this Saturday can still come to North Davidson at 10 AM and I will try you out in a small group. NC Challengers 16U National Team Tryouts

The NC Challengers will hold tryouts for three remaining spots on their 16U NATIONAL team on Sunday, August 23 at 1:00pm at Meredith College (3800 Hillsborough St, Raleigh, NC)

Positions/areas of need are: middle infielders, outfielders, and slappers (any position).

The National Program’s purpose is to develop young athletes into prepared collegiate prospects. We are teaching and instructing our players how to compete, and be successful at a highest level of softball. We compete in nationally recognized tournaments & showcases. Our focus is to provide the best training and opportunities to be seen by college coaching staffs. Reminder - Charlotte Magic 14u (Wright) tryouts this Saturday

The Charlotte Magic will be having open tryouts this Saturday, August 22nd from 10-12 at Northside Christian Academy in Charlotte. The field is on the backside of the school and interested parties should set their GPS to the intersection of the Roman Road and West Sugar Creek. Our returning team members will be practicing after the tryout, so there is the possibility of trying out after this designated time if you have a conflict. Please contact Coach Myka if you are interested in this option.

The Magic is one of the premier travel organizations in the Carolinas and is coming off their most successful season to date, with gold bracket championships in the ASA Diamond Classic World Series, ASA Season Opener, the Mighty Casey and more. The coaching staff is an all-female, all-former collegiate player staff with no children on the team.
