Team NC Organization Tryouts Scheduled for August 20th at Winthrop University

The Team NC organization continues to grow and has had an incredibly successful 2016 spring/summer season. Our 10U, 12U, 16U & 18U teams captured the ASA State Championship titles this year and our 14U team earned the NSA State Championship Title. Four of our teams will be traveling to and competing in Nationals tournaments this summer.

For the 2016-2017 Season we will be handling our tryouts differently than in the past.

PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE ATTENDING THE CORRECT TRYOUTS.


FOR CHARLOTTE AREA PLAYERS/TEAMS WE PLAN TO HOLD TRYOUTS ON AUGUST 20TH - AT WINTHROP UNIVERSITY.

Times for each age group are as follows:

10U - 9:00-10:30 am
12U - 10:30am-12:00pm
14U - 12:30-2:00pm
16/18U - 2:00-4:00pm

Please arrive 30 minutes early to complete any paperwork and to be warmed up and ready to go at the start of your group's tryout time.

The Lake Norman Fury High School team, based in Denver, NC, will hold tryouts for the 2016 Fall season on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10am. Tryouts will be held at Lincoln Charter School, 7834 Galway Lane, Denver, NC. All positions will be considered.

Our mission is to provide a first class organization for young ladies to compete at the highest level. The Fury strives to help our young ladies become better players on the field and better citizens in the community. We are looking for athletes that desire to improve their play, who respect the game of softball and all those that surround their team, and who will play with maximum effort while still enjoying the game. The IT Blaze are a newly formed 14u travel team practicing out of Indian Trail. We have a solid group of girls but are in need of a utility type player as well as a catcher. We are an affordable team that will play mostly local tournaments in the Charotte area as we grow to the next level. Roster Openings

Team TFS 18U-Newton is looking to fill several openings on our elite showcase team for the Fall 2016 season. We are looking for a pitcher, catcher, and utility player to join our existing group of players. Our schedule is full for the Fall season with 4 showcase events planned. 14U TEAM VENOM **LOOKING TO ADD (2) TO ROSTER**

14U Venom 03/04 (South Charlotte) is looking for a Strong Pitcher and a Utility Player to join us for this upcoming fall season. We have an extremely heavy practice schedule and tournament schedule. Carolina Comets 16u

The Carolina Comets Organization, based in Mooresville NC, will be holding open tryouts Saturday Aug 13. The location is Legion Park, 21214 Legion Street in Cornelius.

The 16u Comets-Wilkes time slot is from 10:00am-12:00pm. Tryouts are open to all positions. Looking for college minded players wanting to play showcase and national qualifiers.

Rock Hill Surge 14U Open Try-Outs
Rock Hill Surge 14U is looking to fill 2-3 positions for the fall 2016 season. The team is coached by Christi Beard (former Winthrop player, 1995), Haley Zuehlke (former Winthrop player, 2016) and Leah Young (current 1st baseman for Winthrop). The team will play 5-6 fall tournaments. Practices will be at Winthrop on Sunday's with one practice during the week. In addition, all girls will be expected to attend hitting lessons each week or every other week. Hitting lessons will arranged if the player does not already have a hitting coach. Many of the girls already on the team play volleyball for their schools; therefore, the school volleyball schedule will be considered when arranging tournaments and practices.

Tryouts will be Sunday, August 7 from 6-8 at the Winthrop Softball Complex.

Team NC 2021 - Hatch Private Tryouts 8/8-8/13

Team North Carolina Louisville Slugger 2021- Hatch just finished up a successful 12U season with a 60-10 record playing competitive tournaments nationally, winning the ASA Kick Off Classic (Rock Hill, SC), The Cherry Blossom (Vienna, VA), The Mighty Casey (Rock Hill, SC). We finished 2nd at the USA Elite Select Tarheel Classic (Locust, NC) and 5th at the USA Elite Select World Fastpitch Championships (Kansas City, MO) along with strong finishes at the Atlanta Legacy (Atlanta, GA) and PGF Nationals (Huntington Beach, CA).

Team North Carolina Louisville Slugger 2021-Hatch (14U) is looking to add an A class pitcher with national tournament experience as well as expanding the roster to 14-15 players that are capable of playing at a high level and able to carry a high on base %. Specifically interested in lefty slapper with speed or lead off batter with speed and third baseman.

We will be conducting private tryouts over the next 2 weeks.

Carolina Riptide 18U looking for players. Fast pitch softball

We are a strong A team playing a reasonably local Fall showcase schedule. We have a great bunch of girls, and 4 coaches. Our girls are mostly juniors and seniors. A lot of 1st place finishes over the last year. We operate out of Charlotte NC area.

We are fresh off of a 2nd place finish is the USSSA World Series at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando FL. In fact the only team we lost to was the 1st place team.
We are losing 2 fantastic young ladies to two lucky colleges. We need to replace them with 2 players with the right fit. You must be a current strong A class level player. We are looking for the following positions: Middle Infielder, OF, Catcher or Pitcher. Combination players welcome as we have players who can play multiple positions.
