    SPC results from Friday, March 7th

    As reported from the Monroe Enquirer:

    (1-1) Piedmont - 1
    Anson County - 0

    WP - Matt Foard, 11 K's, 2 hits
    Dan Brooks - GW rbi

    No report from the Enquirer on who pitched for Anson County, but must have pitched awesome to only lose to Piedmont 1-0.


    (2-0) Sun Valley - 7
    Concord - 3

    WP - Lee Blalock (2-0), 8 k's, 3 hits

    The game was highlighted by a sophomore, Andy Tillman who dropped a bomb, his first homerun, and went 3-3 with 2 rbis.

    Got info from The Salisbury Post. It was kinda one sided in favor of South. Didn't mention anything about Northwest players.

    He through 4 complete. I think he gave up 2-3 hits and 1 ER and struck out 4or5.
    Johnathon Goodman threw 3 complete and gave up 2-3 hits and struck out 3-4.

    Homeruns- Dalton (1), Michael Hamilton (1)

    Dalton was also 3-4 at the plate.

    A.L. Brown used two three run home runs in this one to keep it close but just couldn't keep West Rowan off the bases.
