    Are you a coach and are you looking for players? If so any positions in particular?

    Not a coach, just wondering who is still looking for a place to play. Openings are still out there for next year, but if your name isn't then it is really hard to get noticed. Lots of times coaches are saying, "I'm looking for a ......, know anyone I should be looking at?";)

    I saw where Rabbitt 6548 posted a reply on the Davis kid and he wasn't overstating her abilities...she is wanting academics first and sports second but she is a great player. Hopefully High Point will start a program or there is a team out there looking for a good top of the order hitting and multi -positional player.

    I know of 2 who have not signed but definetly have the ability.

    * Brittany Evans from Forbush. 4 year starter. Pitcher/OF. Pretty much can do it all. Throws hard(high 50's to low 60's), good change, rise and screw ball. Over 60 varsity wins in her career. Has a great glove in the outfield, led Forbush in batting with a .380 average. Honor student as well. Plays for the Wildcats out of Fayetville/Wilmington in the summer. Has got some looks but still hasn't signed.....

    * Brandy Reece from Forbush. 4 year varsity starter. Catcher/1st. She is a great athlete who has the entire package. Great arm, speed to run the bases, big and strong, and a player who likes to be in the box when the games on the line. She was the MVP of the 2A State Tournament in 2002. Also plays for the Wildcats during the summer.

    Both of these athletes have the ability to play at the ASU"s, UNCG's, UNCW"S,and UNCC"s of division 1 college softball. They would be a great find for division 2 schools like Catawba, LR, Belmont, Wingate, etc...

    If anyone has seen these two play please let me know what you think...

    I hear Nikki Bost from Alexander is still looking. She's been playing CF for AC and has played on some travelling teams too. I think she's also a volleyball player.
