    Hopewell vs. Forbush

    Forbush - 1
    Hopewell - 0

Pitching was great on both sides really impressed with Falcons pitcher she really worked the plate.

The twins were intimidating as usual.

    Central Cabarrus - 2
    Alexander - 1

Hope to see AC's bats come alive in the future!

I figured she did. They have two pitchers but while Evans would be the best pitcher on 80-90% of teams in the state, Angel is on the elite level. I saw the last few innings of the 2A championship in Raleigh last year and I thought that she was as good as any pitcher I saw in Raleigh.

    CFBall,

what mental mistake do you think was the determining factor in the outcome of the game? Not getting the bunt down in the bottom of the 8th or throwing to first to allow my runner to third? Just wondering.

.........allowing the runner to advance to third! GWU signee(abbey looper) knew it when she did it and hate to see that from a neutral point of view....... But its the way the game is played! I was impressed with the Forbush team and hope angels goals are set high...........any division she choices; she will be happy and successful! I thought she kept the titans off balance at the plate for most of the game and think your team may have given the Charlotte team a wake up call, not to mention boost the level of confidence for your squad! Thanks for a great game(worth the admission) and we wish you the best in this years run for another State Championship! I wanted to yell at the worried face coach, say hey, but too tight of a game to ruin the fun you and the team were having for two ole guys love for ball! Did you get to stay for the following games or have a prior Committment;) ;)! Good luck and keep us posted about Forbush Softball. Did you feast any on the wonderful line of food AC Team had for its guest? :)
