    The South Meck vs. Garinger @ South Meck game today is still on as of 1:30 pm today, 4/8.

    There will be no jv game as Garinger does not have a jv team and the varsity teams are scheduled to play at 4:30, thus far, pending inclement weather but that is not to say that the game could not be cancelled when the game time of 4:30 pm rolls around today?!?

    I just checked the weather map and if we want to get anything in today ... we better start at 4:30 and cancel JV's

    IF your field drains really well, you could get a make-up game in tomorrow .... but it's most likely going to be saturday before you can make it up......

    this weather stinks...

    Kannapolis at Statesville tonight at 7pm was just postponed. No date given for makeup...

    DARN this weather!!!

    Well, I must say, what's a little rain when you are playing in the Bagdome..complete game against Garinger..well, complete as in... 5 innings...the field was as dry as a newborn's .....well the diapers were a little leaky

    Correction to the South Meck vs. Garinger score turned in by Braves. South Meck 16, Garinger 0 in 5 innings.

    Since Braves was NOT standing in the Bagdome...I guess that Braves could not tough out the whole 5 inning game standing in a little rain and cold?!? Next time, Braves, you need to have a couple of cups of hot chocolate instead of just one, huh?!?

    A little "quick dry" was used on the South Meck field that was NOT completed covered by the Bagdome...$$burn baby burn$$...burn that "quick dry"!!!

    Actually, I did stand in the Bagdome...first one there, too...and stayed to the end.

    I just moved to different areas of the Dome to get better views. All those people kept blocking me....

    I did post an agreed upon score of the game....but thought better of it...and edited to just the innings....

    ...and yeah, I could have used another couple of cups

    You guys should have called me....I would have rushed over from the warmth of my house with some SWAMP JUICE! Forget Hot chocolate....you need something that is medicinal when you play baseball in weather like this! This is football weather!
