If you could put players from each team on an "allstar" NPC team, who would they be?

Include pitchers and where you would play everyone and even the hitting order.

    Other conferences as well...

I am unsure about guys from Statesville, North Iredell, and Lake Norman. I am sure that they each have at least one player to go up here. This is just who I have seen.

    NPC All-Conf?

Actually, I think its way too early to be talking about All-Conference, but I'll agree with the names listed above as a starting point.

I would also include Tim Johnson (LHP) from Statesville on my list,,, and "#1" from Lake Norman (can't remember his name), but I believe he's their shortstop. Regardless of his position, he's the best hitter on the L.N. team.

What about Jonathan Goodman (SS-NW Cabarrus)?

    All NPC Team...

Sorry Int.Coach,,,, I disagree with one of your names; however, I can agree with your other 2.

I would like to add Daniel Smith to your list simply because he's still a threat at the plate, even though he's been injured this year. Opposing pitchers are constantly pitching around him during every one of his at-bats.

I agree with you, Int'Coach. If they're going to elect 30 kids to all conference , they should at least break it down as 1st team and 2nd team.
On the other hand they don't call it an "all conference team", just all conference. There are 8 teams in the conference with an average of maybe 18 kids on a team, say about a 150 kids total. That would be 1/5 that would elected all conference, that's still a pretty big honor considering the talent in the NPC. I think I could still be proud if my kid was elected, so would he.

A couple possible candidates from Lake Norman and North Iredell:

    Brent Frye, P (LN)
    Matt Marshall, OF (LN)
    Nick Barry, SS (LN)
    Steven Hancock, SS,P (NI)
    Charles Taylor, P,OF (NI)

These guys are the ones that stood out in the games I saw. I've only seen them twice, so there may be others that deserve reconition.

I guarantee WR and NWC will dominate the all conference ballots. But there is still some sleepers and time to make an impact.
And i agree , its an honor being associated with all the talent in this conference. To bad some schools make it so political for players to show what they got.

so you are saying that coaches would rather play favorites to kids than win? I know several coaches and they play to win with their best nine, not who they like the most or any other political reason. That would be career suicide. I am sure that politics surround the All Conference selections, why else would there be 20-30 kids on the team, but GENERALLY coaches play their best when it matters.
