    Braves,

As far as top teams go, Fuquay-Varina is hands down the most talented/complete team in North Carolina high school baseball.

3 DI pitchers, a legit DI catcher and two middle infielders in Jon Caddell and Stephen Hanthron who have the ability to play baseball in college. They also have a crop of underclassman that are contributing. These guys know what it takes to win the whole thing.

Before the season started and even in the beginning of the season I was thinking that FV would dominate on the mound but have some trouble scoring runs, but we all know now that isn't true. They have 10 homeruns in their last 2 games.

Out of the west I think North Forsyth high school has to "one" of the favorites. The pitching staff is lead by NCSU signee Gib Hobson and WCU signee Andrew Larrimore. Offensively they are led by WCU signee, shortstop Bryan Bowles, Dale Martin, Josh Hemsley, DJ Mitchell, Skyler Olsen, Joe Overby, Gib Hobson and Andrew Larrimore.

I have not seen North Forsyth this season, but hope to soon.

SW 4A schools - Myers Park, South Mecklenburg and Providence all have very solid clubs. McDowell, Alexander Central and West Forsyth should be considered as well. So throw North Forsyth is there too and that looks like the top West 4A schools in my opinion.

From the East it looks like Fuquay-Varina, JH Rose, Richmond Senior, Garner, Green Hope and WF-Rolesville are the top teams in my opinion. They may not have the best team records but they are the teams that should be there in the end.

In my opinion, the surprise team this season is Wake Forest-Rolesville. What happended early on with these guys?

WF-Rolesville is a very telented club. They are as talented as any club in North Carolina. Pitchers Jon Emmert (ECU), Ryan Barham, Josh Dowdy and Drew Taylor are as good as any four pitchers one high school team has.

    Note: These are only opinions.

Actually you can post content from Impact Baseball as long as you dont take credit for writing it and possibly give credit to its source.
The only person who can stop it would be a moderator of this board.
And that would be considered a form of censureship and would violate your 1st amendment right of the constitution. Although i dont think with this being a private forum your covered under the 1st amendment , but you can post any information from impact baseball on your own website and still name the author from which it originated .

    3A

    Austin Powers -

    What a "Smashing" question.

    3A Baseball

Tuscola is the best 3A team in North Carolina in my opinion.

Out of the West I like Tuscola, Ragsdale, Franklin, TC Roberson and Glenn.

Out fo the East I like Smithfield-Slema and CB Aycock. I would throw East Chapel Hill and Manteo in the mix as well.

Western NC "3A" looks a little tougher for clubs than the East. CB Aycock and SSS stand alone in my opinion coming out of the East. Where you have 5 or 6 clubs in the West who look similar.

    East Chapel Hill

Correction - I believe East Chapel Hill comes out of the West not the East.

    Listen..guys.. let's don't debate what's legal and what's not..that's not the point.

Andy Partin is our guest on this Board. We are thankful for his analogies, information and his time...believe me, he has more important things to do then to post on our board.

Impact Baseball is his business..we don't want to infringe on his livelihood, just as we wouldn't want to infringe on any of our member's business. If he chooses to release something, that's his decision, but it's his website and it should be his decision.

Ask him anything, you want. Andy has always been kind enough to respond..but let's don't put our hands in his pockets.

Impact Baseball is our guest..let's treat him that way

...and if anyone feels that we are being too "vanilla" on this Board, then you don't understand why this Forum was created...to promote the players and provide information for the players and families to help them gain an advantage to achieve their goals....really that's it!!...everything else is frivolous.

Of course, I must admit that I am the king of frivolous...but every board needs one and I have the moderators to balance me out

I just saw on your site where Brandon White signed with Surry. Seems like he's had a very up and down year. Does it surprise you that Surry signed him? Could he have held out through legion season and signed with a bigger school?

What does Impact Baseball think about Chris Nigro, the southpaw from Watauga. I saw what was written in the first sentence or so on the article on the website, but i was interested in hearing what else was thought about him.
