Thanks to all of you plus the many more that were so gracious enough to remember me on my birthday in 2003 and to attend my extravagant birthday party last night. I was lucky enough to be able to spend my birthday last night with those hundreds of special people that have meant so much to me these past many years from California to New York and from Texas to Alaska! But I was most flattered to have Braves, SabreFan, Tellitlikeitis, Baseballnut, Sabremom, Yoroller and many other TBR members attend as my very special friends. Many sorrows that NCBBALLFAN was out of town and unable to attend as he was dearly missed.

Just to let those of you who were unable to attend know what you missed, my guests arrived at my birthday party last night at the lavish home hosted by my dear and classy friend, Muddog, who had smartly solicited the assistance of another dear and stylish friend, Original, to deal with the bartender duties and oversee the extraordinary entertainment for the night. And yes, Original refrained from pushing her all famous “swamp juice” special drink on everyone and tastefully suggested in my honor that everyone try my all time favorite drink the “Green Apple” martini for this special occasion.

Guests ate, drank and danced last night from 7:30 pm until midnight and the entertainment consisted of Michael Martin Murphey's Rio Grande band for the cowboy crowd, the 5th Dimension with hits of the 1960s, '70s and '80s for the nostalgic group, the Four Tops for the more sophisticated and the entertainment after midnight was topped off by the greatest rock band ever, AC/DC, anchored by one of rock’s most rhythmic dues, Angus and Malcolm, for the stiff upper lip group! Boy did Original out do herself with the entertainment for the night!

Survivors gathered around the breakfast buffet of Muddog’s elegant dining room around 6:30 a.m. this morning for a finale birthday buffett breakfast with Original toning down and rounding out the occasion with the final entertainment of the occasion with many memorial melodies from the silent film “The Jazz Singer” which was a hidden talent of Original’s that we ALL were quite unaware of!!! Boy can Original sing that jazz-mix!!!

Well, I am quite tired know from my special birthday event that lasted from 7:30 pm on April 28th though 8:30 am this morning on April 29th. I think now that I will probably just take the rest of the day off and rest up from my fantastic 2003 birthday party blast! Again, a special thanks to both Muddog and Original for their thoughtfulness and caring manners extended to me during my birthday this year and cheers to all of you who honored me with your thoughtfullness on my birthday!
