Winning run scored on a well executed squeeze in the bottom of the 7th. Complete games by both pitchers.

Mitchel Pridmore moves to 8-0 and tied the career shutout record for West Henderson, allowing 2 hits in the game. Mike Facchinei, Pridmore, Josh Andrews, Luke Lovelace, and Russ Harris all had 2 hits for WH. WH is now 18-0 and 11-0 in the conference.

Pridmore is a great pitcher. I've faced him a whole lot in the past. He can also flat out hit the baseball. I always thought his curveball was very overlooked because he could bring the heat and his movement on his two seamers is very sharp

Pioneers move to 9-13 overall and 5-5 in the NW4A (w/ losses to JH Rose, W. Forsyth, Alexander, McDowell, and two to N. Forsyth and two v. S. Caldwell).

Nigro got the win and J. Greene went yard in Asheville (but did not hit the cow behind the CF fence).

Alexander, McDowell, and South are tough, but Pioneers could still be players in the conference tourney.

    Mt.Pleasant/Charlotte Catholic game on 4/29 ...

reminder: Mt.Pleasant beat Charlotte Catholic 5-0

Josh Benton was the starting pitcher for MP, but he got hit on the elbow by a batted ball early and left the game. Haven't heard if his injury is serious. Can anyone give us an update?????

    Hope not for his sake...
