What will happen if games in the NW4A keep getting called off this week because of rain? Isn't the tournament scheduled for next week? Just wondering.

Schedule for tonight (but probably cancelled 'cause of the rain) was Central Cabarrus versus Vance.....

Central Cabarrus takes on Independence on Friday.

    ACHS schedule

Alexander Central's game with E. Burke was postponed until Wednesday. They travel to Watauga Tuesday and S. Caldwell on Thursday. They are supposed to anyway. I hope the weather cooperates.

Does anyone know if there has been a meeting or anything to discuss the options, if the games keep getting rained out. I read where they CAN cancel the Conference Tournaments? I know there are quite a few games to be made up in the NPC.

Austin, you know we're all just sitting around and wondering when this rain will EVER end, but another factor that is major, is how will these fields hold up once the rain FINALLY stops. For example, you know that you're field at Northwest doesn't drain very well. I'm afraid that we need a TON of sunshine too before these games can get underway,,,, and sunshine is certainly not in the forecast. Do you honestly believe that your field will be playable by tomorrow after it rains all afternoon today too and probably half the night too???

Or do you know if anyone has discussed switching fields to play any of the games?

Wufman..I agree with you 100%...Our field doesn't adapt to water very well in certain area's. If it rains very much today or night I would say the game tomorrow (5-7-03) will be in jeopardy..We sure would hate to lose the HOME FIELD advantage but at this stage of the season it may have to happen, just to get the games in. I'am sure Coach Hubbard and staff will do everything possible to have the field in playing condition. Has anybody seen my SUNGLASSES.
