TBR is very impressive.

TBR is the best board i have seen. I have been reading threads for weeks now. I have received more information about teams throughout NC than if i had read all of the newspapers published in the state. Congrads guys, this is the place to be for all the info on "The Boys of Summer!" Keep up the good work! I guess it is apparent that i pull for any young man playing baseball out of Rowan County. There are some really good teams in Rowan. I wish them well as they advance and begin the State games. With Legion ball starting soon there are a lot of great games yet to come. Keep Rocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Welcome aboard Rowan Baseball,,, I also support the local teams in the Cabarrus/Rowan area on this message board. We have some very good local high school baseball teams right now, and yes the local legion teams (Rowan, Kannapolis, S.Rowan) should also be very strong this summer...

Welcome aboard RB ..... but you should know ... in order to increase newpaper coverage of High School baseball and get these players the attention that they deserve, I am resuming my campaign to get reporters to attend and report on HS baseball.

The only sports that they cover (football and basketball) have an advantage in getting these reporters to the events. That is because they allow cheerleaders in football and basketball.

We need to come up with a plan to have cheerleaders for baseball. We need it now, before the state playoffs start, or we won't get much coverage then either.

 

You guys are alright!!!!!!!!! I totally agree about the newspaper coverage. They do a fair job for the High Schools at times, but i would like to see more effort by the newspaper when a team makes it to the State Playoffs. Some of the young men playing, play only baseball. The paper should give the All-American game the same coverage as football and basketball gets. Keep Rocking!
