    This is like watching the clock on the last day of school before summer vacation.

    Your post may not have intended to be nasty but the comments about the shirts and trophy weren't needed. I will admit that NM had a better overall record but 9-1 in the conference still finishes ahead of 8-1-1 in anybodys book.

    North Meck & Independence tie

    Not to cause any ruckuss here but I agree with SirJamesNC on the convo between him and bIg fan. This was clearly a bad season for us players being there was soo much rain and cancelled so many games. This said, North Meck had at least another good 5 or 6 more wins in conference play which would easily put North in the 1 spot in the conference. No offense, Big I has a great team, but North easily could have pulled it off. Also regarding the tie with North & Hopewell, this game went into the 8th inning tied 3-3 and there went time limit, this game ending with the heart of the lineup coming up for North, I believe we had that game won. I believe this controversy should go to overall record which would put North in 1 again. Great teams, great games, great conference, bad weather= controversy in JV standings........... enough said

    5/10 Hickory at Kings Mountain

    Postponed. No, not rain. Only one umpire showed. Game rescheduled to Tuesday 5/13 at 4:30. Kings Mountain now has St. Stephens on Monday and Hickory on Tuesday.

    West Henderson 12, Smoky Mountain 1

    4th game in 4 days for WH. This game was played at Western Carolina University.

    Luke Lovelace got the win, going 2 innings with Brooks Owenby going the final 4.

    Rocky Guthrie and Seth Corliss were both 3/4. Kevin Allen, Mitchel Pridmore, Curtis Frisbee, and Kemper Booth all had 2 hits each with Booth having a HR. WH is now 22-0.

    It's all that pretty green grass at WR ... i got eat up bad also...

    btw RC, do ya think WR thinks about all the concession revenue they are losing at baseball games , last night they coulda raked it in.

    Wade did an excellent job on the mound , and the former piedmont bunch excelled as usual..
