    Myers Park = NO CLASS

The Myers Park fans, and a couple players should be ashamed of themselves. During they 4-0 win over east meck, the fans were banging on pots, ragging the east players to death, and shouting profanities. They should be embarresed and ashamed of themselves. Rob Wilson intentionally threw at tyler white twice. And don't tell me that the ball slipped, b/c there were two outs both times, and on the first pitch, to the best player on the team, he chucks fastballs at him. Its a joke. As the fans of myers park were ragging on east's players nonstop, none of the others fans had the balls tell them to stop, b/c its rude, it represents your school and family like crap. Also after the coach was asked to tell the fans to quiet down, the coach says its not his problem. In conclusion I want to state the Myers Park is abunch of stuck-up rich boys who show no respected for anyone. I hope myers park is happy, there heads are so high right now, thinking there unbeatable, i hope they lose early in the state playoffs.

    MYERS PARK HAS NO CLASS...

    You are kidding right?

Despite the fact that Rob and Tyler are close friends, game strategy wise..it would make no sense. The game's outcome was still in doubt.

Salute Rob Wilson's pitching performance tonight as he shut down a very potent offensive team...the fact that Tyler got hit by a pitch did not affect the EM's bats...Wilson did that.

Yes...I agree about the students. I have witnessed this all year at most schools...with the exception of East Meck..the classiest supporters in the city in my opinion...but they had no effect on the game.

East Meck got beat tonight..but so what..the important game is Tuesday night when they face S. Caldwell. That's when the fun begins

I hope all the SW4A teams win their first round games...it would say a lot about the strength in the conference

Myers Park's first round opponent is now Hopewell by virtue of the fact that both the #1 and #2 seeds have been eliminated from the Meca 8 tournament. This pushes Hopewell to the #3 seed in the state tournament coming out of the Meca 8.

    I'm here. Where are you?
Wanksta don't point fingers at the team....i, too, was at the game and witnessed what you were talking about... yes the fans were unruly, but don't blame the team point fingers at the administraion of the school for not stopping it or controlling the situation...As far as wilson hiiting white twice i believe he was just being agressive on the inner half of the plate and the ball simply got away from him...

Braves---i will agree with you if east thought last night was bad wait til tuesday at south caldwell...rumor has it the worst place to play in the nw4a.....btw see what happened in there championship game... east better learn to deal with it and channel the aggression to the game if they want to succeed

I also do not condone unruly fan behavior, but I will add that the Mustangs have heard their share of "remarks" too. It certainly doesn't make the behavior acceptable, but the most effective way to quiet down boisterous fans is to put runs on the board and shut them up! MP has heard plenty of trash from the stands in ALL of their competitive games for the last several seasons, directed at the team and individual players ,coachesand parents. I personally believe that you pull for your team and let that suffice, but all do not approach the game that way. The Myers Park and East Meck baseball teams are two of the classiest teams you will ever find. Good luck to both of them in the play-offs.

yes, i agree with you all, i might of overeacted a bit. i know the fans had no outcome on the game, but they were just ridiculous. i think east will bounce back though. and i regret saying myers park has no class. i hope all the SW4A teams go deep into the playoffs...

Wanksta50...your team will bounce back I am certain. I have blown off steam on these boards myself...and usually regretted it later after cooling off. With the great teams in our conference, there should be some exciting games to watch(and hopefully read about in the Observer???)

if all you kids are crying about getting heckled by some high school parents then you might as well quit playing ball right now. It's only going to get worse. When you start playing college or if you are lucky enough to get further, you're going to called everything in the book. Quit crying and play baseball.
