    In the top of the first, Weslyan loaded the bases up with two outs, but Daniel struck the batter out to end the inning. That was Weslyan's best chance to score. In the bottom of the second, Christian scored two. In the third Christian put up 2 more. In the seventh, Christian scored 4 to seal the win. Daniel was very good today and pitched all seven innings.

    Who got the key hits....and was there a key defensive play?

    I am happy for Daniel, the best in the city and probably in the State..

    A shoo-in for TBR's Player of the Year...which is more important than NC high school POY

    My man Goose is to humble... the kid was 8 for 10 in the tournament and I can't recall him making an error at SS in those three games. Just wanted to give my boy some well-deserved credit on here.

    Definetely have to give credit to Carrera.. in my opinion he is the best all around hitter in Charlotte... also the bottom of Christian's line-up (Griffin McGuirt and Zach Watson) did a tremendous job getting on base and providing a huge lift for the Knights. 30-4-1 and state champs, heck of a year with only 4 returning starters from the previous years team.
