    i heard pineville legion was spose to be good, they got bard, vartinian, and i heard woodard was gonna play, heck of a pitching staff already, but i dont know if that area III

    Mooresville beat S. Rowan last night 13-6 (I think). This was the first game in Area III this season............... and may be the first game in NC this season.

    Both teams were missing key players that will not be able to join their teams until their High School season in over.

    I was surprised that South played this game.Since it was a non league game I guess it was a good experience for the South JV players.Should be an interesting next 6 weeks in Area III during the regular season.

    Should be even more interesting once the playoffs begin in late June.

    Greenballz, I heard about a kid who's playing for the Kannapolis Legion team this summer and he appears to "gotitall",,,,,, is this you? :D

    Post 501 should have an interesting season once the Trojans are eliminated from the state playoffs. The 501 head man has already promised 13 players starting positions on a 9 man team. This will get good.

    Once all the dissention and fighting for positions is over with 501 should emerge as one of the better teams in area 3 , and one of the top 8 in the state. But Zack and Lucas cant do it all.

    Politics in legion ball. Never:wink2:lol.
    It's the last grasp for daddy ball. They may not coach but look who's setting on the boards that hire the coaches. Then look to see who gets playing time. Of course I'm speaking of our area here. May be different elsewhere.
