    Mount Pleasant - 7
    North Rowan -0

    WP- Benton
    LP-? didn't get name

Strong outing by Josh Benton only allowing 3 (i think thats correct anyways) hits.. Most of the damage was done in the 6th, with MP plating 4. Next game for MP, at home Friday at 7 against Western Alamance/West Stokes winner.

    Hickory 2 East Gaston 1 8 innings

    WP: Jamie Yarbrough - 8 innings - 6 hits
    LP: Jason Cline - 7 2/3 innings - 3 hits

Jamie Yarbrough - game winning double with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th. Great game by both starting pitchers. McConnell - 2 2Bs

Hickory moves to 17 - 7 and meets Tuscola in round 2.

Also: Franklin 6 St. Stephens 5 No game details at this time.

Myers Park beat Hopewell 1-0. Both Cruse and Woodard pitched very well. Logan Smith doubled to lead off the fifth I believe and after a passed ball moved him to 3rd Hopewell misplayed a fly ball and the only run of the game scored
