Did the Watauga coach tell you personally that the pitcher had trouble fighting in school? Because if he didn't tell you personally, please keep your "understandings" to yourself. Perhaps Leyshon was kept on the team for reasons that you nor anyone else know or need to know about. As for fighting in school, if he had gotten in trouble there, Coach Hardee would have dealt with it quickly and harshly. He cares a lot about those boys, dedicates an incredible amount of time to the program and uses his position to not only try and build a great program (in an area where many people say it's impossible to build a program due to weather) but also instill a sense of purpose in these young men that goes beyond the playing field. You know what, everybody? The boys from the schools have met, worked it out, and we adults need to learn a lesson and follow their lead.
