    Thanks vikes28-

    South Rowan 3
    East Forsyth 1
    Wp-Moore
    Lp-Tesh

Congrats to South Rowan and good luck the rest of the way!

Moore pitched the complete game giving up 3 hits!

Adam Tesh pitched an excellent game! Surrendering
    only 4 hits.
The Raiders scored the first run on a 317ft homerun and
the other 2 on a misplayed popup!

Congrats to the Eagles on a fine year!
They were picked to finish near the bottom of the conference-but did not accept that. Making it to the second round of the State Playoffs was definitely an accomplishment!:D

    WP - Jeremy Helms...7 IP, 1 R, 3 H, 7 K, 2 BB

    LP - Paul LInk......2 IP, 4 R, 5 H, K, HBP
    .....Daniel Cauble..1 IP, 5 R, 4 H,
    .....Bryan Aycoth...2 IP, R, 2 H, K, 2 BB, HBP, 2 WP
    .....Wade Moore.....2 IP, 6 R, 4 H, 5 K, BB, HBP, 2 WP

    for Piedmont
    Jimmy Race, 2-4, 2 RBI, 2 R
    Dan Brooks, 2-5, 2 HR, 3 RBI, 3 R
    Josh Edwards, 2-5, HR, 3 RBI, R
    Matt Foard, 2-5, 2 R
    Austin Ring, 3-5, 2 RBI
    Tyler Greene, 2-3, 2 2B, 3 RBI, 2 R

    for West
    Luke Overcash, 2-3

note: Piedmont can really hit. They got a good, complete game effort from their pitcher and backed him up with plenty of runs. It was a tough loss for West, you hate to see them finish a good season like this, but everything that had worked for them all year, worked against them tonight. Congradulations to the Panthers and to their coaches and good luck the rest of the way.

    WOW:jawomg:

looks like the bats have definitely come alive for piedmont in the playoffs.

wossa, according to the official brackets, the piedmont/w rowan winner had home field next rd, no matter who won. so yes, it looks like you'll have to travel down to union co to catch that one.

You show up for a Tigers game and I'll supply the cookies. I have a source ;)

and if you are still recruiting for your softball team bring some of that swamp juice. We can hang in the parking lot. Or should I bring my flask?

Looks like I'll be heading your way for the next game.
